BEHAVIOR CONTROL APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE AND METHOD THEREOF
An apparatus and a method for controlling a behavior of a vehicle that travels on a road. The behavior control apparatus for a vehicle and the method provide that the driver may safely return the vehicle to a paved road surface while compensating for the behavior of the vehicle based on an external force generated by deviation of one-side wheels of the vehicle from the paved road surface.
Method for controlling the lateral pulling of a motor vehicle during braking
A method controls lateral pulling of a moving motor vehicle during braking. The method includes a) calculating a value representative of a difference between angular accelerations of left and right wheels of a wheelset of the motor vehicle, b) calculating a correction value as a function of at least the value representative of the difference between the angular accelerations; and c) controlling for the left wheel and the right wheel an associated brake so as to modify a drag force applied by the associated brake as a function of the correction value calculated in step b), such that the drag force applied to a first wheel of the left and right wheels is increased, and the drag force applied to a second wheel different from the first wheel is reduced, to reduce the value representative of the difference between the angular accelerations of the left and right wheels.

VEHICLE TRAVEL CONTROL DEVICE
A vehicle travel control device includes a surrounding environment recognition device that acquires surrounding environment information on a surrounding environment of a vehicle; a vehicle state recognition device that acquires state information on a state of the vehicle; and a travel control unit that performs travel control of the vehicle, based on the surrounding environment information or the state information. When the vehicle state recognition device detects a slip of at least one drive wheel of the vehicle, the vehicle travel control device executes brake LSD control for braking the at least one drive wheel. When the surrounding environment recognition device recognizes snow on a traveling road of the vehicle and a snow melting area and a snow non-melting area ahead, the travel control unit switches an operation mode of the brake LSD control from a first mode to a second mode.

Brake control apparatus for vehicle
A brake control apparatus includes: a master cylinder that outputs a brake fluid at a master pressure; a master pressure changing device that can change the master pressure irrespective of an operation of a brake pedal; a brake actuator; and a control unit that executes antilock control by reducing a brake pressure of a target wheel. Modes of the antilock control include a normal mode and a pseudo mode. In the pseudo mode, the control unit operates the master pressure changing device such that the master pressure obtains a target value of the brake pressure of the target wheel, and changes the brake pressure of the target wheel in an interlocking manner with the master pressure. When the normal mode is unavailable, the control unit executes the antilock control in the pseudo mode.

VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed herein are a vehicle control system and controlling method thereof. The vehicle control system includes a plurality of sensors configured to measure a wheel speed, a steering angle, a yaw rate, and acceleration value, and a controller estimating the state of a vehicle based on the wheel speed, the steering angle, the yaw rate, and the acceleration value and updating a front and rear wheel stiffness of the vehicle when it is determined that the vehicle is running on an asymmetric friction surface from the estimated state of the vehicle.
Vehicle stability control device
A vehicle stability control device has: a front active stabilizer installed on a front wheel side; a rear active stabilizer installed on a rear wheel side; a turning device for turning the front and rear wheels; and a control device configured to perform load distribution control in conjunction with turning control that actuates the turning device, when a difference in braking force between left and right sides of the vehicle exceeds a threshold value during braking. A first side is one of the left and right sides with a greater braking force, and a second side is the other of the left and right sides. In the load distribution control, the control device actuates the rear active stabilizer in a direction to lift up the first side and actuates the front active stabilizer in a direction to lift up the second side.
