Electronic control unit structure of brake system

The present invention relates to an electronic control unit (ECU) structure of a brake system. An ECU of a brake system, according to the present invention, has a redundancy configuration in which a first control unit, a first cover, and a second control unit are sequentially stacked so that the first control unit and the second control unit are spatially separated by means of the first cover, and thus the second control unit can perform the function of the first control unit without being influenced when the first control unit malfunctions.

BRAKE SYSTEM FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE

A brake system for a motor vehicle includes a first electrically actuatable pressure source, a first control device, a second electrically actuatable pressure source, an electrically actuatable inlet valve for each wheel brake, an electrically actuatable outlet valve for each wheel brake, a second control device, and a pressure medium reservoir. The first and second pressure sources are connected to a brake supply line to which the inlet valves are connected. An electrically actuatable circuit separation valve is arranged in the brake supply line such that when the circuit separation valve is closed, the brake supply line is separated into a first line section and a second line section. The first line section is connected to the second pressure source and at least two inlet valves, and the second line section is connected to the first pressure source and the other inlet valves.

Air braking system

An air braking unit for use in an air braking system. The air braking unit is arranged to be positioned, in use, at a vehicle wheel, and comprises an inlet for receiving, in use, compressed air from a central source. At least one first valve is arranged to selectively allow compressed air from the inlet to enter a wheel brake chamber in use. At least one second valve is arranged to selectively allow air from the brake chamber to be released via an outlet to the atmosphere in use and control means controls the first and second valves to operate to selectively control the air pressure in the brake chamber in use.

The present invention obtains a brake hydraulic pressure control apparatus that is mounted to a straddle-type vehicle and can improve an anti-vibration property when compared to the related art.

The brake hydraulic pressure control apparatus according to the present invention includes: a base body formed with a channel for a brake fluid; a control board of a hydraulic pressure control mechanism for the brake fluid provided to the channel; a housing accommodating the control board and connected to the base body; and a connector provided to the housing and electrically connected to the control board, and is mounted to the straddle-type vehicle. The brake hydraulic pressure control apparatus includes a holding section that holds a cable connected to the connector.

Hydraulic block for a hydraulic power unit of a hydraulic power vehicle braking system

A power piston in a power cylinder borehole of a hydraulic block of a hydraulic power unit of a hydraulic power vehicle braking system is only guided radially in an axially delimited guide section. The power cylinder borehole is configured with a larger diameter axially outside the guide section. A brake fluid channel extends through the guide section up to an opening of a brake fluid line.

ABS ACTUATOR DEVICE UNIT FOR A CARGO CYCLE AND A CARGO CYCLE PROVIDED WITH SUCH DEVICE

A pedal-assisted cargo bicycle, includes a front extension of the frame which rotatably supports a front fork shaft around an axis spaced forward with respect to the rotation axis of the bicycle handlebar, and a luggage compartment container mounted on said front extension of the frame. The cycle has an ABS hydraulic actuator device interposed in the connection between a master hydraulic cylinder associated with the lever for actuating the front brake, and an actuator hydraulic cylinder of a brake caliper associated with the front wheel unit. The ABS actuator device and the electronic control unit associated therewith are mounted on a support plate which is in turn mounted on a side wall of a lower portion of the luggage compartment container, so as to be protected from impacts against the ground even in a condition of maximum lateral inclination of the bicycle.

Hydraulic unit for an electronically slip-controllable vehicle brake system

A hydraulic unit for an electronically slip-controllable power brake system of a motor vehicle. A cuboidal housing block is equipped with components for generating a braking pressure and for open- or closed-loop control thereof. On a motor side of the housing block, a motor is fastened to drive a braking pressure generator, while on a reservoir side, a reservoir is provided to supply the vehicle brake system with a pressure medium. The reservoir has at least one protruding fastening peg, which projects into a recess open to the outside on the housing block. Using a retaining pin inserted into a transverse bore of the housing block and passing through this recess, the reservoir is anchored to the housing block. The transverse bore, open on the motor side of the housing block, is in a flat portion in which a pin head of the retaining pin lies without the pin head protruding axially beyond a motor side of the housing block.

A cuboidal housing block, particularly for a hydraulic modulator to generate, control or regulate a hydraulic pressure in a brake circuit of an electronically controllable power-brake system. Housing blocks have, inter alia, a mounting side which is provided for mounting an electronic control unit. To save on weight and material, a recess is provided on one long side of the housing block, the recess being in the form of a groove that is closed on the sides and otherwise open toward the surroundings of the housing block. The recess is bounded lengthwise by bars, an outer flank of these bars transitioning seamlessly into the mounting side and enlarging its area.
