A master cylinder for a brake. The master cylinder includes a cylinder main body having a hydraulic pressure chamber, a reservoir tank having a storage chamber, and a separator that is provided in the reservoir tank to divide a space in the storage chamber of the reservoir tank into an upper region and a lower region. A hydraulic fluid is storable in the hydraulic pressure chamber, and is storable in the storage chamber for thereby replenishing the hydraulic pressure chamber. The hydraulic fluid is circulatable between the upper region and the lower region, such that a liquid surface of the hydraulic fluid is in the upper region. The separator has a lower surface in the lower region. The lower surface has an inner portion, and an inclined portion that surrounds the inner portion and that is inclined outwardly and upwardly with respect to the inner portion.

The brake assembly also includes a base bracket pivotably coupled to a reservoir body and adapted to be mounted to a handlebar, and a handle pivotally coupled to the base bracket and adapted to pivot relative to the base bracket. A drive link is pivotable coupled to the reservoir body and is configured to pivot relative to the reservoir body to advance the piston inside the cylinder bore in response to the pressing of the handle. The handle is configured to be set at a plurality of angular positions with respect to the reservoir body by pivoting the base bracket relative to the reservoir body.

A brake assembly includes a reservoir body adapted to store a brake fluid and defining a cylinder bore, and a piston adapted to reciprocate inside the cylinder bore. The brake assembly also includes a base bracket pivotably coupled to a reservoir body and adapted to be mounted to a handlebar, and a handle pivotally coupled to the base bracket and adapted to pivot relative to the base bracket. A hydraulic block, the upper side of which is provided with a brake-fluid reservoir which is fixed in place on the front surface and on the rear surface of the block by fastening apparatus/device (arrangement). The front fastening apparatus/device (arrangement) is formed by a tab that projects from the underside of the reservoir, this tab being screwed to the front surface of the block. The rear fastening apparatus/device (arrangement) is made up of a tab, which projects from the rear side of the reservoir and is formed by a hook that is supported by a carrier that is fastened to the rear side of the hydraulic block and forms a support for the tab, as well as a clamp, which connects the tab to the hook.

A hydraulic block, the upper side of which is provided with a brake-fluid reservoir which is fixed in place on the front surface and on the rear surface of the block by fastening apparatus/device (arrangement). The front fastening apparatus/device (arrangement) is formed by a tab that projects from the underside of the reservoir, this tab being screwed to the front surface of the block. The rear fastening apparatus/device (arrangement) is made up of a tab, which projects from the rear side of the reservoir and is formed by a hook that is supported by a carrier that is fastened to the rear side of the hydraulic block and forms a support for the tab, as well as a clamp, which connects the tab to the hook.

A piston assembly is provided for a human-powered vehicle. The piston assembly includes a main body and a primary seal. The main body is configured to be movable from a rest position to an actuated position along an actuation direction in a cylinder bore. The primary seal includes a primary seal body arranged on the main body. The primary seal body is made of a resin material. The main body includes a first part and a second part. The first part is at least partly arranged upstream of the primary seal with respect to the actuation direction. The second part is coupled to the first part to be at least partly arranged downstream of the primary seal with respect to the actuation direction. The at least one of the first part and the second part includes a support portion supporting the primary seal.

A brake system for a vehicle such as a bicycle is disclosed. The brake system may comprise an improved master cylinder assembly configured (e.g. manufactured/produced, assembled, etc.) so that a setting and/or adjustment of the brake stroke and/or lever action/actuation can be provided by any one independent mechanism (e.g. without any other adjustment mechanism) or by a combination of adjustment mechanisms (e.g. in a combination with one or more adjustment mechanism); operation of a mechanism for setting and/or adjusting the brake stroke may comprise a feature configured to engage a pushrod (e.g. by direct action on the pushrod or a feature of the pushrod or by indirect action through a link, adjuster, etc. configured to engage the pushrod). The master cylinder assembly may be configured to be set and/or adjusted/tuned within the indicated range to provide an intended performance and/or “feel” for the operator at the brake lever.

A snow vehicle having a combined brake and clutch handle is herein disclosed. Further, the snow vehicle can include a controller for managing operation of the snow vehicle, including shifting and engine management regiments, which can be selected by the operator depending upon operator preferences. Additionally, the snow vehicle can include an engine cooling heat exchanger for cooling liquid which is circulated through the engine.
