Trailer Brake Control System
Systems and methods are provided for controlling operation of a trailer brake system associated with an agricultural vehicle-trailer combination. A coupling force between the vehicle and the trailer is determined and used to control operation of the trailer brake system in dependence thereon. A primary control strategy is used in dependence on the determined coupling force being within a coupling force range; and one or more secondary control strategies are used in dependence on the determined coupling force being outside of the coupling force range.
Trailer Brake Control System
Systems and methods are provided for controlling operation of a trailer brake system associated with an agricultural vehicle-trailer combination. Using a driver deceleration demand a pressure level and/or duration for a preliminary pressure peak to be provided in one or more fluid lines of the trailer brake system is determined. A trailer brake signal is generated for controlling the trailer brake system in accordance with the preliminary pressure peak.

The present disclosure includes a system, method, and device related to controlling brakes of a towed vehicle. A brake controller system includes a brake controller that controls the brakes of a towed vehicle based on acceleration. The brake controller is in communication with a speed sensor. The speed sensor determines the speed of a towing vehicle or a towed vehicle. The brake controller automatically sets a gain or boost based on the speed and acceleration.

The present disclosure relates to a measuring device (42, 43) for measuring forces and/or torques between a motorized vehicle (1) and a trailer or attachment which is towed or pushed thereby, wherein the measuring device (42, 43) has at least three sensor elements (22, 34) which are arranged on a carrier (20, 31), transversely with respect to a virtual longitudinal axis of the motorized vehicle (1) and spaced apart from one another, wherein the measuring device (42, 43) is arranged in a coupling region between the motorized vehicle (1) and the pulled or pushed trailer or attachment, and wherein, in order to transmit their measured values, the sensor elements (22, 34) are connected to an evaluation device (40), which is configured to convert these measured values into signals for force displays and/or torque displays according to magnitude and direction.
FORCE OR TORQUE MEASURING DEVICE FOR A MOTORIZED VEHICLE WITH AN ATTACHMENT
A measuring device (60) is configured for measuring forces or torques between a motorized vehicle (1) and a trailer or attachment which is towed or pushed thereby. The measuring device (60) has at least three sensor elements (79, 80) arranged on a carrier (71), transversely with respect to a virtual longitudinal axis of the motorized vehicle (1) and spaced apart from one another. The measuring device (60) is arranged in a coupling region between the motorized vehicle (1) and the pulled or pushed trailer or attachment. In order to transmit their measured values, the sensor elements (79, 80) are connected to an evaluation device (40), which is configured to convert these measured values into signals for force displays and/or torque displays according to magnitude and direction.

PIVOTAL TOW BAR ASSEMBLY
A tow bar assembly for use in connecting a towing vehicle to a towed vehicle. The tow bar assembly includes a drawbar and a housing assembly capable of being configured with a supplemental braking system. A connector secures the housing to a tow hitch member, such that two separate, non-planar perpendicular axes of pivotal rotation are created. The tow hitch assembly includes at least one arm with an inner and outer portion, wherein the inner portion rotates about a central axis relative to the inner portion within the outer portion. A fourth pivotal axis is created by a connection of mounting brackets to the tow hitch member.
