BRAKE CONTROL VALVE ARRANGEMENT
A brake control valve arrangement for controlling application of a braking force includes an electro-pneumatic brake control valve block including a hold valve and a vent valve (PRESSURE CONTROLLER), a main regulator valve (RELAY VALVE) and an emergency and a variable load control pressure regulator. The valve block has an inlet for a brake supply pressure, and an outlet in pneumatic connection with a brake cylinder. A pilot pressure into the main regulator valve from the variable load control pressure regulator is controlled by a remote release solenoid valve (CONTROL CHAMBER VENT MAGNET VALVE). The remote release solenoid valve adapted to vent brake cylinder pressure to atmosphere when de-energized thereby enabling release of the wheel braking force via the main regulator valve.
BRAKE CONTROL VALVE ARRANGEMENT
A brake control valve arrangement for controlling application of a braking force includes an electro-pneumatic brake control valve block including a hold valve and a vent valve (PRESSURE CONTROLLER), a main regulator valve (RELAY VALVE) and an emergency and a variable load control pressure regulator. The valve block has an inlet for a brake supply pressure, and an outlet in pneumatic connection with a brake cylinder. A pilot pressure into the main regulator valve from the variable load control pressure regulator is controlled by a remote release solenoid valve (CONTROL CHAMBER VENT MAGNET VALVE). The remote release solenoid valve adapted to vent brake cylinder pressure to atmosphere when de-energized thereby enabling release of the wheel braking force via the main regulator valve.
COMPRESSED-AIR BRAKING SYSTEM FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A compressed-air braking system (DBA*) for a motor vehicle, includes a compressed-air supply device (1) with a compressor (2) and several brake circuits which are connected to the compressed-air supply device (1) via a multi-circuit protection valve (7) and include at least one parking brake circuit with parking brake cylinders (25.1, 25.2). In order to reduce the operating noise of the compressed-air braking system (DBA*) occurring in particular on venting of the parking brake cylinders (25.1, 25.2), it is provided that the parking brake cylinders (25.1, 25.2) can be vented, per wheel or per vehicle axle, alternately either to the surrounding atmosphere or into an additional reservoir (31) via a respective quick-venting valve (29) connected to a connecting line (28) and a changeover valve (30) arranged downstream thereof.
COMPRESSED-AIR BRAKING SYSTEM FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE

A pneumatic ABS valve device for a pneumatic brake system of a vehicle comprises a check valve mechanism for enabling a supply air flow from a supply port to a delivery port and blocking an air flow in the reverse direction. The check valve mechanism comprises a quick release insert disposed in an insert chamber, the quick release insert being placeable in a basic position for providing a chamber passage in the insert chamber enabling the supply air flow. The quick release insert is displaceable by an air pressure difference from the basic position into an activated blocking position, in which the chamber passage is at least diminished with respect to its basic position, in order to block an air flow from the supply port to the delivery port and enabling exhaust air flow.
Pneumatic ABS valve device
A pneumatic ABS valve device for a pneumatic brake system of a vehicle comprises a check valve mechanism for enabling a supply air flow from a supply port to a delivery port and blocking an air flow in the reverse direction. The check valve mechanism comprises a quick release insert disposed in an insert chamber, the quick release insert being placeable in a basic position for providing a chamber passage in the insert chamber enabling the supply air flow. A valve for an air brake system on a commercial vehicle comprises a body, an inlet port connected to the body and at least one delivery port connected to the body. The inlet port has a threaded portion distal to the body and a hex portion proximate to the body. The hex portion includes a frangible feature in substantially the mid-point of the hex portion such that the valve can easily be removed from an air brake reservoir when the valve is broken at the frangible feature.

A combined dirt collector and cutout cock (CDC & COC) device for a rail car control to prevent unintentional re-pressurization of the control valve and rail car braking system. The device has an inlet configured for interconnection to an air supply, an outlet configured for interconnection to a control valve of a rail car, a valve moveable between a first position where an inlet is connected to an outlet and a second position where the inlet is isolated from the outlet, and a control valve vent positioned downstream of the valve and configured to open in response to the valve being moved into the second position. The valve may include a ball having a first passageway for selectively connecting and disconnecting the inlet from the outlet and a second passageway formed therethrough that is positioned to interconnect the outlet with the vent when the valve is in the second position.
Combined dirt collector and cutout cock having controlled venting
A combined dirt collector and cutout cock (CDC & COC) device for a rail car control to prevent unintentional re-pressurization of the control valve and rail car braking system. The device has an inlet configured for interconnection to an air supply, an outlet configured for interconnection to a control valve of a rail car, a valve moveable between a first position where an inlet is connected to an outlet and a second position where the inlet is isolated from the outlet, and a control valve vent positioned downstream of the valve and configured to open in response to the valve being moved into the second position. The valve may include a ball having a first passageway for selectively connecting and disconnecting the inlet from the outlet and a second passageway formed therethrough that is positioned to interconnect the outlet with the vent when the valve is in the second position.
