Disclosed are a vehicle and an engine control method for more conveniently restarting an engine in the state in which a function of automatically turning off the engine is activated during braking for improving fuel efficiency. The engine control method includes turning off an engine through an idle stop and go (ISG) system during braking due to manipulation of a brake pedal, determining whether at least one preset starting condition is satisfied based on information on a forward environment, and turning on the engine irrespective of whether manipulation of the brake pedal is released when any one of the at least one starting condition is satisfied.
CONTROL SYSTEM, MOBILE OBJECT, CONTROL METHOD AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
Provided is a control system, including: a mobile object control unit configured to control a mobile object; an update control unit configured to receive an update program of the mobile object control unit from an external apparatus, and update the mobile object control unit with the update program; an instruction acquisition control unit configured to perform control to acquire a user instruction indicating that the update of the mobile object control unit with the update program is not executed; and a determination unit configured to determine whether an updatable condition is satisfied, which is a determination condition for determining the mobile object is in an updatable state or not, based on at least either of a driveline state of the mobile object or an opening or closing state of a door installed in the mobile object.
CONTROL METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR HYBRID POWER SYSTEM
A control method for a hybrid power system. The method is applied to a hybrid power system composed of an engine (10) and a motor (20). A motor stator (21) of the motor (20) is connected to a driving shaft (40) of a motor vehicle by means of a transmission mechanism (32) such that, when rotated, the driving shaft (40) drives the motor stator (21) to rotate; the motor (20) is used to determine output torque according to the rotating speed of the motor and transmit same to the driving shaft (40); the rotating speed of the motor is equal to the difference between the rotating speed of the motor rotor (22) and the rotating speed of the motor stator (21). The method comprises, according to operating parameters of the hybrid power system and operating parameters of the motor vehicle, controlling a motor controller to provide a drive signal to the motor stator such that the operating parameters of the motor meet a first preset formula, thereby avoiding the possibility of the motor operating at zero rotating speed or within a low rotating speed range under various operating conditions, avoiding the occurrence of problems with the motor such as efficiency and torque response being poor under such operating states, and improving user experience. Also provided is a control system for achieving a control method for a hybrid power system.
POWERTRAIN DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
The powertrain device for a vehicle includes an engine and an automatic transmission, the automatic transmission includes a plurality of friction fastening elements for selectively switching motive power transmitting paths, a predetermined friction fastening element among the plurality of friction fastening elements is a travel-start friction fastening element performing slip control in a travel start, and the powertrain device includes, between the engine and the automatic transmission, a motive power connection-disconnection clutch which is released at least in an engine start and is fastened earlier than the travel-start friction fastening element in a travel start of the vehicle.
VEHICLE STOP TRANSMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD
A control system includes a transmission and a controller configured to receive a vehicle stop command; determine a ground speed; compare the ground speed to first and second predetermined speed thresholds; generate, when the ground speed exceeds the second predetermined speed threshold, a downshift command; generate, when the ground speed is greater than the first predetermined speed threshold and less than or equal to the second predetermined speed threshold, a shuttle shift command; determine, when the ground speed is less than or equal to the first predetermined speed threshold, if the transmission is operating in the first or second mode; select, upon determining the operating mode, a four-square clutch; and at least partially engage the selected four-square clutch to slow or stop the work vehicle.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING CHARGING OF VEHICLE BATTERY
A method of controlling charging of a battery may include making, by a controller, the battery that supplies power to a drive motor start to be charged with a boosted voltage higher than a voltage of a fast charger by controlling a switch connecting the drive motor and the fast charger of a vehicle and a switch of an inverter driving the drive motor, for fast charging of the battery; determining, by the controller, whether a motor position sensor has failure according to an output signal of the motor position sensor which detects a position of the drive motor; engaging, by the controller, an engine clutch that is configured to connect or disconnect the engine of the vehicle and the drive motor, when the controller determines that the motor position sensor has the failure; and maintaining, by the controller, the fast charging for the battery when a rotation of the drive motor stops after the engine clutch is engaged.
Hybrid-electric vehicle plug-out mode energy management
A vehicle includes an engine, an electric machine, a battery, and at least one controller. The vehicle may further comprise a port for supplying power to a load external to the vehicle. The controller is programmed to operate the engine at a power level based on a difference between a battery voltage and a reference voltage such that a power output by the electric machine reduces the difference. The power level may define an engine operating point that minimizes fuel consumption. The operating point may be an engine torque and an engine speed. The power level may be further based on a state of charge of the battery. The electric machine may be operated to cause the engine to rotate at an engine speed corresponding to the selected power level. The difference may be caused by varying power drawn by a load external to the vehicle.
Locking out a machine to prohibit movement
A construction machine includes a system and method for performing a lockout or stand down of the machine to prohibit movement of the machine or one or more components of the machine, without shutting down the machine. Information about the status of the machine or a component thereof can be collected and relayed to an electronic control module (ECM) to determine whether to lockout the construction machine. If appropriate, the ECM can command lockout to an electrical component of the machine or component to prohibit movement of the machine or component until the lockout is released.
Preventing a Movement of an Autonomous Vehicle
A device for preventing a movement of an at least partially autonomously drivable vehicle in an autonomous driving mode includes an actuator where an immobilization function of the at least partially autonomously drivable vehicle is activatable or deactivatable by the actuator. The actuator is a switch accessible from outside of the at least partially autonomously drivable vehicle. Access to the actuator is controllable by an overriding safety device.
