Driver assistance device for a motor vehicle, and method for operating a motor vehicle
A driver assistance device for a motor vehicle with a drive assembly, which can be connected to a drivetrain via a clutch that can be activated by an actuator. The clutch being a component of an electronically controlled clutch system, in which a clutch pedal sensor detects an actuation of a clutch pedal on the driver's side and in which an analysis unit determines, in a first control mode on the basis of the detected clutch pedal actuation, a clutch torque and actuates the clutch with a corresponding clutch signal. For an adjustment of the clutch response on the driver's side, the analysis unit is associated with an input unit, for the actuation of which, on the driver's side, it is possible to shift between the first control mode and at least one second control mode.
CONTROL SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE
A control system for preventing engine stall due to slippage of a wheel during propulsion in a fixed mode in which an engine and the wheel are rotated at a fixed ratio. When a wheel slips in a first mode in which an engine and the wheel are rotated at a predetermined ratio, an operating mode is shifted to a second mode in which a torque transmission between the engine and the wheel is interrupted and the vehicle is propelled by torque of driving machine connected to the wheel, or to a third mode in which the vehicle is propelled by delivering torque of the engine to the wheel while establishing a reaction torque by a predetermined rotary member.
Control device for vehicle
A control device for a vehicle includes a failure detector to detect failure in a cooling device to cool an internal combustion engine of the vehicle. An acceleration operation sensor is to detect an acceleration operation amount indicating a target acceleration. Circuitry is configured to control a power output from the internal combustion engine in accordance with the acceleration operation amount, control an air fuel ratio of air-fuel mixture in the internal combustion engine to be in a richer side with respect to a predetermined air fuel ratio if the acceleration operation amount exceeds a high load threshold, limit the power output from the internal combustion engine if the failure detector detects the failure, and prohibit the air fuel ratio from being controlled to be in the richer side even if the acceleration operation amount exceeds the high load threshold if the failure detector detects the failure.
HYBRID VEHICLE
The hybrid vehicle performs battery-less drive control to control an engine such that the engine is autonomously operated at an autonomous operation rotation speed, to control a first motor such that a torque based on a driving force required for a run of the hybrid vehicle is output from the first motor, and to control a second motor such that an electric power by subtracting an auxiliary machinery power from an electric power charged or discharged by the first motor is charged or discharged by the second motor. During the battery-less drive control, when a rotation speed of the engine becomes lower than a first predetermined rotation speed that is lower than the autonomous operation rotation speed, the hybrid vehicle performs torque adjustment control to decrease an absolute value of the torque output from the first motor.
VEHICLE, AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING VEHICLE
A vehicle includes an engine, a transmission mechanism, and an electronic control unit. The electronic control unit performs first switching control when there is a request for switching from a low mode to a high mode. The first switching control is to release a first engagement mechanism, and switch a second engagement mechanism to an engaged state when a difference between input and output rotational speeds of the second engagement mechanism becomes equal to or smaller than a permissible value.
PROPULSION CONTROL SYSTEM WITH VARYING AGGRESSIVENESS OF RESPONSE
A propulsion control system provides different levels of jerk as a function of operator inputs and actual measured operational parameters in a machine. The system includes a power source, a continuously variable transmission (CVT) coupled to an output of the power source, a plurality of input/output devices, a plurality of sensors configured to generate signals indicative of operational parameters of the machine, and a controller communicatively coupled with the power source, the CVT, the input/output devices, and the sensors. The controller includes a database stored in a memory with a plurality of jerk values mapped to different operations of the machine selected from at least one of activation of a brake by an operator for an aggressive stop, a directional shift request from an operator to select one of forward, reverse, or neutral, and a set of operating conditions of the machine indicative of a blade load shedding mode. A jerk selection module is programmed to select at least one of a jerk value, an acceleration limit value, and a deceleration limit value based on a current operation of the machine. A speed command generating device is programmed to integrate a selected jerk value twice to generate a desired speed command. A proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control device is configured to continuously calculate a control error between the desired speed command and an actual speed of the machine. An output command control module is configured to output a control command for implementing a change in an output torque to at least one of the power source and the CVT to reduce the control error.
Slip control method and arrangement for a driveline including a continuously variable transmission
A slip control method and arrangement for a driveline including a continuously variable transmission is described herein. The driveline includes a clutch that is so controlled as to slip when a torque higher than the usable torque attempts to pass through. Accordingly, the clutch prevents the prime mover from stalling.
WORK VEHICLE
A work vehicle (1) comprising: an engine (5) mounted on a traveling body (2) including traveling wheels (3) and (4); a hydraulic stepless transmission (500) that shifts a speed of the driving force from the engine (5); a gear shift pedal (41) that performs an acceleration/deceleration operation of a shifted output from the hydraulic stepless transmission (500); and a control section (813) that controls the engine (5) and the hydraulic stepless transmission (500) based on the operation amount of the gear shift pedal (41). When an operation on a set switch (65b) is received in a state where the gear shift pedal (41) is pressed by a foot operation in an auto-cruise standby mode, the control section (813) stores the vehicle speed and the number of engine revolutions in accordance with the foot operation position of the gear shift pedal (41) and shifts to an auto-cruise mode.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING SUDDEN UNINTENDED ACCELERATION DUE TO MISOPERATION OF ENGINE IN POWER SPLIT TYPE HEV SYSTEM
A method for controlling a sudden unintended acceleration due to misoperation of an engine in a power split type hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) system, the method including when a determination is made that a delta revolution per minute (RPM) of an engine is out of a predetermined criterion, determining that an operating point of the engine does not move along a profile defined according to a target operating point of the engine and the sudden unintended acceleration is possible. The delta RPM is a difference of value between a current RPM of the engine and a profile RPM of the engine required to move to the target operating point of the engine from a current operating point of the engine.
Method and system to control vehicle operation
Methods and systems are provided for performing a multiple gear downshift of a transmission gear by transiently operating in an intermediate gear. In response to ambient humidity and a condensate level in a charge air cooler, the transmission gear may be downshifted from a higher gear to an intermediate gear, and then to a requested lower gear. Downshifting through an intermediate gear may also be controlled based on the gear shift request.
