It is proposed that some of the electrical consumers (3-8) of the agricultural machine (1) are peripheral consumers (3-8) for providing functions in a parking state of the agricultural machine (1), in which the combustion engine (2) is shut off, that a power management module (11) is provided, which in the parking state of the agricultural machine (1) monitors the charging level of the battery (9) via the monitor module (11) and deactivates at least one peripheral consumer (3-8), when the charging level falls below a threshold level.

Engine power delivery system with transmission gearing bypass

An engine power delivery system provides bifurcated power-flow with transmission bypass. An engine power delivery system includes an engine that has an output element. A transmission has an input shaft coupled with the engine output element, wherein the engine is configured to generate more power than the transmission is capable of handling. A multi-speed gearing arrangement is included in the transmission and is coupled to the input shaft. An output shaft is coupled with the gearing arrangement and a vehicle axle is coupled with the output shaft to be driven thereby. A generator is configured to be intermittently driven by the engine. A motor is configured to receive electric power from the generator and to drive the vehicle axle without the transmission exceeding the maximum power rating.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF ENERGY MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL OF VEHICLE ACCESSORIES

Systems, apparatuses, and methods disclosed herein include a system including a heating, venting, and air conditioning (HVAC) system and a controller coupled to the HVAC system. The controller is configured to receive internal vehicle information, external static information, and external dynamic information, and to control operation of the HVAC system based on the internal vehicle information, external static information, and external dynamic information.

CONTROL APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM

A control apparatus includes a switching unit configured to switch a state of a first and a second on-vehicle power supply to a power or a non-power supplying state, an acquisition unit configured to acquire operation information indicating whether the control device is in an operating or non-operating state, and a control unit configured to execute, in a case where a combination of the first and the second power supply is changed from a first to a second pattern, start-up control to determine a state in the second pattern, of an on-vehicle control device suppliable with power from the first power supply, based on the operation information in the first pattern. The first pattern is the first power supply in the power supplying state and the second power supply in the non-power supplying state. The second pattern in the first and second power supplies are in the power supplying state.

Hybrid construction machine

A hybrid construction machine includes: a motor generator system connected to an internal combustion engine and performing a motor generator operation; an electric power accumulation system connected to the motor generator system; a load drive system connected to the electric power accumulation system and being driven electrically; an abnormality detection part equipped to the motor generator system, the electric power accumulation system and the load drive system; and a main control part determining whether an abnormality has occurred based on a detection value of the abnormality detection part. When the abnormality determination part determines that an abnormality has occurred, the main control part stops a drive of a drive system in which the abnormality is detected in the load drive system.

VEHICLE CONTROL UNIT (VCU) AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF

Disclosed are a vehicle control unit (VCU) and an operation method thereof that calculate a speed variation of a vehicle based on input information, predict an average speed of the vehicle based on the calculated speed variation, generate a first speed profile based on the predicted average speed, and generate a second speed profile by applying speed noise information to the first speed profile.

Vehicle and method for controlling the same

A vehicle and a method for controlling the same are provided to secure additional distance to empty (DTE) of the vehicle by controlling the use of a load that is consuming battery power or by changing driving mode, when a recharging station is unavailable within DTE of the vehicle at a current battery charge level. The vehicle includes a DTE calculator that calculates DTE of the vehicle based on a battery charge level and a cluster that displays the calculated DTE. A controller detects a recharging station located within the calculated DTE and transmits a control signal to create an interface for controlling battery power consumption based on battery power consumed by at least one load when a recharging station is unavailable within the calculated DTE and a display displays the created interface.
