PEANUT CULTIVAR 'IPG 913'
A peanut cultivar designated IPG 913 is disclosed herein. The present invention provides seeds, plants, and plant parts derived from peanut cultivar IPG 913. Further, it provides methods for producing a peanut plant by crossing IPG 913 with itself or another peanut variety. The invention also encompasses any peanut seeds, plants, and plant parts produced by the methods disclosed herein, including those in which additional traits have been transferred into IPG 913 through genetic engineering, gene editing, mutagenesis, or by breeding IPG 913 with another peanut cultivar.
SOYBEAN VARIETY 5PPZM06
A novel soybean variety, designated 5PPZM06 is provided. Also provided are the seeds of soybean variety 5PPZM06, cells from soybean variety 5PPZM06, plants of soybean 5PPZM06, and plant parts of soybean variety 5PPZM06. Methods provided include producing a soybean plant by crossing soybean variety 5PPZM06 with another soybean plant, methods for introgressing a transgenic trait, a mutant trait, and/or a native trait into soybean variety 5PPZM06, methods for producing other soybean varieties or plant parts derived from soybean variety 5PPZM06, and methods of characterizing soybean variety 5PPZM06. Soybean seed, cells, plants, germplasm, breeding lines, varieties, and plant parts produced by these methods and/or derived from soybean variety 5PPZM06 are further provided.
PEANUT VARIETY 'GEORGIA-Val/HO'
Herein provided is a new valencia-type peanut variety designated Georgia-Val/HO as well as the seeds, plants and derivatives of the new peanut variety Georgia-Val/HO. Methods for producing peanut plants by crossing the new peanut variety Georgia-Val/HO with itself or another peanut variety (such as another valencia-type peanut variety) and plants produced by such methods are also provided. Georgia-Val/HO is a unique valencia-type peanut cultivar having a combination of a moderate level of tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) resistance, high-oleic, high total sound mature kernel (TSMK) percentage, and high yield. Georgia-Val/HO provides a medium maturity valencia-type peanut cultivar with a runner growth habit, prominent main stem, dark green foliage, runner seed size, and red seedcoat color.
PEANUT CULTIVAR 'IPG 517'
A peanut cultivar designated IPG 517 is disclosed herein. The present invention provides seeds, plants, and plant parts derived from peanut cultivar IPG 517. Further, it provides methods for producing a peanut plant by crossing IPG 517 with itself or another peanut variety. The invention also encompasses any peanut seeds, plants, and plant parts produced by the methods disclosed herein, including those in which additional traits have been transferred into IPG 517 through genetic engineering, gene editing, mutagenesis, or by breeding IPG 517 with another peanut cultivar.
PEANUT VARIETY 'ARNIE'
The invention provides plants of the peanut variety designated Arnie. The invention thus relates to the plants, cells, plant parts, and tissue cultures of the variety Arnie, and to methods for producing a peanut plant produced by crossing a peanut plant of variety Arnie with another peanut plant, such as a plant of another variety. The invention further relates to peanut seeds and plants produced by crossing plants of variety Arnie with plants of another variety. The invention further relates to the genetic complements and hybrid genetic complements of plants of variety Arnie.
Reduced-fat peanut products and plant lines
The present invention relates to new reduced-fat peanut products and plant lines, including peanut plants, seeds, varieties, and hybrids. The invention further relates to peanut seed having a reduced-fat content of from about 27.9% to about 39.57% and to novel peanut plants and lines which produce seeds having a reduced-fat content of from about 27.9% to about 39.57%. The invention also relates to methods for producing a peanut plant which produces seeds having a reduced-fat content of from about 27.9% to about 39.57% containing in its genetic material one or more transgenes and to the transgenic plants produced by those methods. This invention also relates to peanut cultivars or breeding cultivars and plant parts derived from peanut plants which produce seeds having a reduced-fat content of from about 27.9% to about 39.57% and to methods for producing other peanut cultivars, lines or plant parts derived from peanut plants which produce seeds having a reduced-fat content of from about 27.9% to about 39.57%.
PEANUT VARIETY 'GEORGIA-22MPR'
Herein provided is a new runner-type peanut variety designated Georgia-22MPR as well as the seeds, plants, and derivatives of the new peanut variety Georgia-22MPR. Methods for producing peanut plants by crossing the new peanut variety Georgia-22MPR with itself or another peanut variety (such as another runner-type peanut variety) and plants produced by such methods are also provided. Georgia-22MPR is a unique runner-type peanut cultivar having a combination of high-oleic and low-linoleic fatty acid ratio, a high level of tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV), potato leafhopper, and root-knot nematode (RKN) resistance, high total sound mature kernel (TSMK) percentage, and high yield.
