SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING SHIFT FOR HYBRID ELECTRIC VEHICLE
A system and a method of controlling a hybrid electric vehicle shift are disclosed. The system includes an engine and a drive motor operating as power sources and a transmission receiving driving torque from one of the engine and the drive motor. A data detector detects a state data for operating the transmission. A vehicle controller calculates a creep torque and an engine setting torque using the state data, determines whether a shift control condition is satisfied based on a position value of an accelerator pedal, calculates an available motor torque using a motor speed at an actual shift start point and a target motor speed when the shift control condition is satisfied, and calculates a first shift input torque using the creep torque, the engine setting torque, the available motor torque, and a first torque apply ratio. The transmission is operated based on the first shift input torque.

An apparatus for extracting vibration of a hybrid electric vehicle includes: an engine and a driving motor, which are power sources; a starter motor/generator connected to the engine; and a control unit configured to measure a motor speed of the starter motor/generator, to generate a speed variation quantity based on the motor speed of the starter motor/generator, to calculate a vibration frequency of the engine when the speed variation quantity exceeds a reference value, to set a filter band based on the vibration frequency of the engine, and to extract, with the filter band, a vibration of the engine.
Engine clutch control system for hybrid vehicle and method thereof
An engine clutch control system of a hybrid vehicle includes a driving information detector for detecting vehicle information and road environment information according to operation of the hybrid vehicle. An engine clutch is disposed between an engine and a motor. A hybrid controller provides an EV (electric vehicle) mode or an HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) mode by controlling engagement or disengagement of the engine clutch. The hybrid controller sets a slip estimation region of the engine clutch from an accumulated value of an APS (Accelerator Pedal position Sensor), an engine clutch temperature, or a road inclination when engagement of the engine clutch is required, and extracts a speed variation of the engine and the motor in the slip estimation region. The hybrid controller compares the speed variation of the engine and the motor with each other, and determines the engine clutch is engaged when a maximal peak is detected.
