Systems and methods are provided for detecting road user frustration due to autonomous vehicle driving behavior. An autonomous vehicle fleet can leverage information about typical road user behavior to create an index measuring the frustration level of other road users and/or likeability of autonomous vehicle behavior by other road users. Additionally, perception algorithms associated with sound detection and tracking can define human characteristics associated with frustrated drivers or other road users.

A path providing device for providing a route to a vehicle includes a first communication module configured to receive a high-definition (HD) map information from an external server, a second communication module configured to receive external information generated by an external device located within a predetermined range from the vehicle, and a processor configured to generate forward path information for guiding the vehicle based on the HD map and provide the forward path information to at least one of electric components provided in the vehicle. The processor is configured to generate dynamic information related to an object to be sensed by the at least one of the electric components based on the external information and to match the dynamic information to the forward path information.

A target vehicle speed generating device basically includes a determination unit and a correction unit. The autonomous vehicle can send its sensory input information to the control center and the control center can send control information to the autonomous vehicle.
Vehicle travel path generating apparatus
When a travel path is to be generated for a vehicle, road surface lines (white lines, etc.) delimiting the traffic lane of the vehicle, and also external objects in the vehicle environment, are detected and registered as respective obstacles. Specific points are defined at appropriate locations on each obstacle, and the travel path is generated by connecting respective mid-point positions between opposed pairs of specific points, each pair defined on respective ones of an opposed (left-side, right-side) pair of the registered obstacles.
