Method and device for controlling hybrid vehicle
A hybrid vehicle has an engine (E) that is capable of changing a combustion mode between a stoichiometric combustion mode and a lean combustion mode and a motor/generator (MG) that is capable of performing torque assist by a power running operation and torque absorption by a regenerative operation. As a boundary between a stoichiometric combustion operating region and a lean combustion operating region, a second boundary (L2) at a torque decrease has a hysteresis at a low torque side with respect to a first boundary (L1) at a torque increase. Upon shift from the stoichiometric combustion operating region to the lean combustion operating region, for delay in increase of an intake-air quantity, decrease in fuel and the torque assist by the motor/generator (MG) are carried out, and an exhaust air-fuel ratio is changed stepwise.

Provided are a driver posture measurement device and a vehicle control device that can accurately measure the posture of a driver with a simple configuration without attaching a plurality of wireless communication units to a vehicle. The driver posture measurement device and the vehicle control device are configured such that, between one wireless communication unit provided on the vehicle side and one wireless communication unit provided on the driver side, radio waves are radiated from the wireless communication unit provided on the vehicle side, and on the basis of a radio wave arrival angle of the radio waves arriving at the wireless communication unit provided on the driver side, the driver posture is measured.

A hybrid vehicle includes an engine, a first motor, a planetary, the first motor, and a drive shaft, such that the first motor, the engine, and the drive shaft are arranged in this order in a collinear diagram, a second motor configured to be connected to the drive shaft, a power storage device configured to exchange an electric power with the first motor and the second motor. The controller estimates a future amount of intake air to a cylinder based on the target engine torque, and estimates an engine torque after a setup time from the present time based on the estimated future amount of intake air. The controller sets a target motor torque after the setup time based on the estimated engine torque after the setup time so that the target torque is achieved, and outputs a control signal corresponding to the target motor torque to synchronize a torque response of the engine with a torque response of the motor.
VEHICLE DRIVING FORCE CONTROL DEVICE
A driving force control device for a vehicle is provided, which includes a motor, an engine, and a controller. The controller sets a target torque of the vehicle corresponding to accelerator operation, and distributes a target engine torque according to a distribution rule defined beforehand, based on the target torque of the vehicle, and outputs a control signal corresponding to the target engine torque to the engine. The controller estimates a future amount of intake air to a cylinder based on the target engine torque, and estimates a torque of the engine in the future based on the estimated future amount of intake air. The controller sets a target motor torque based on the estimated torque of the engine so that the target torque of the vehicle is achieved in the future, and outputs a control signal corresponding to the target motor torque to the motor.
Systems and methods for hybrid vehicle engine and motor torque coordination
Methods and systems are provided for coordinating engine and motor torque in a hybrid vehicle system. The systems and methods use an engine torque command to obtain a motor torque command, and adjust the engine torque command based on an estimate of a time delay between commanded and actual motor torque prior to the engine command being sent to an engine controller. In this way, crankshaft torque accuracy may be improved.

When the estimated force value is not smaller than a predetermined threshold, the input-rotation limiting portion restrains an increase of the input rotational speed.

A vehicle includes: an engine that generates driving force; a motor-generator that generates driving force; a battery electrically coupled to the motor-generator; an electric supercharger that compresses air with electric power supplied by the battery and to supply the compressed air to the engine; a navigation device that determines a route; and a control device including at least one processor and at least one memory coupled to the processor. The at least one processor performs processing including: identifying a downhill section in which a downhill slope on the route is located; determining, based on a state of charge of the battery at present time, an endpoint estimated state of charge of the battery at a point in time when the vehicle reaches an endpoint of the downhill section; and turning on the electric supercharger when the endpoint estimated state of charge is greater than or equal to a predetermined value.
