Rubus plant named ‘BWPRASP03’
A new cultivar of Rubus hybrid plant named BWPRASP03 that is characterized by its fruit production on primocanes, by its high primocane fruit yields, its early cropping profile, its medium red fruits that are consistently large in size throughout the season, its very good extended shelf life, by its fruit that is easy to pick with low adherence to the plug, its primocanes that are upright, moderately branched and have large leaflets, and its sweet fruit with relatively low acidity.
Raspberry plant named ‘Aine’
A new raspberry plant named Aine particularly distinguished by large fruit for use in fresh market, primocane variety with two crops per season and very productive plant, and sweet flavor, is disclosed.
Raspberry plant named ‘DrisRaspTwentyFive’
A new and distinct variety of raspberry plant named DrisRaspTwentyFive, particularly selected for its early fruiting, consistent fruit size and shape, deep red color, and sweet flavor, is disclosed.
Black raspberry plant named ‘Shekinah Tahi’
A new and distinct cultivar of spineless, floricane fruiting black raspberry Shekinah Tahi. Canes of Shekinah Tahi have no spines, unlike the usual spiny canes of black raspberries. The spineless trait was introgressed from the original red raspberry source that originated in the old Scottish variety Burnetholm. The new cultivar fruits on laterals grown from buds of overwintered floricanes. Shekinah Tahi produces large fruits in tight bunches on the ends of long spineless laterals.
Raspberry plant named ‘PS-12.082-54’
This invention relates to a new and distinct everbearing variety of raspberry plant named PS-12.082-54. The new variety is primarily adapted to the growing conditions of the central coast of California and is characterized by the following: mid-season primocane production with medium sized fruit of strong yellow orange coloration. Fruit is of consistent conic shape, releases easily from receptacle, is very glossy and possesses an average % brix of 10.2. Foliage is flat, medium green; possessing weak rugosity, weak gloss and mostly 3 foliates. Primocanes have an absent or very weak waxy coat, medium prickle density of small green prickles and are absent of anthocyanin coloration.
METHODS FOR HIGH DENSITY PLANTING OF RUBUS PLANTS
This invention relates to methods for increasing yield per acre, harvesting efficiency, and the quality of the fruit produced by Rubus plants, or decreasing water and/or nitrogen use in fruit production in Rubus plants, comprising planting Rubus plants at a high density, wherein the Rubus plants comprise at least one mutation in an endogenous gene and exhibit a compact density and the ability to be planted at a high density.
Raspberry plant named ‘DrisRaspTwentySix’
A new and distinct variety of raspberry plant named DrisRaspTwentySix, particularly selected for its fruit quality, yield, flavor, and shelf life, as well as its plant vigor and growth characteristics, is disclosed.
