PALLET SLED
A pallet sled includes an upper frame including spaced-apart arms adapted to receive feet of a pallet therebetween. A lower frame supports the upper frame. A plurality of pivotable arms connect the lower frame to the upper frame. A handle is pivotably connected to the lower frame and the upper frame, such that pivoting the handle selectively raises and lowers the upper frame relative to the lower frame.
Wheel lifting device
A wheel lifting device comprising a base structure with support means for being supported by a ground surface and a lifting frame with at least one wheel support member and a frame leg which extends upwardly at an angle to the ground surface. A link mechanism is connected to the base structure and to the lifting frame and a pivotal manoeuvring lever is connected to the link mechanism for lifting the lifting frame relative to the base structure. The blocking device for locking the manoeuvring lever at any desired pivotal position comprises a weight which is slidable along the frame leg and arranged to intersect the pivotal movement path of the manoeuvring lever and to be brought into frictional engagement with the frame leg when influenced by a force generated by the manoeuvring lever in order to block the lifting frame from downward movement relative to the base structure.
Transport cart for ballast block
A transport cart for transporting a ballast block upon a ground surface by a user. The ballast block has a front, rear, top, bottom, and has a plurality of fastening openings on the top. The transport cart has a main frame having a pair of parallel side members, a wheel assembly, a pair of overhead frames attached between the side members, and a cross member attaching the overhead frames. A lifting mechanism is attached to the cross member and includes a lifting arm extending parallel to the side members, and a pair of engagement plates attached to the lifting arm. The engagement plates fasten to the fastening openings on the top of the ballast block. The lifting arm is raised by rotating a handle to raise the block above the ground surface, whereupon the ballast block may be moved along the ground surface using the wheel assembly.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TRANSPORTING AN OBJECT
An apparatus for transporting an object is provided. The apparatus includes a mast and a carriage. The mast transitions between a first position defined by a first angle of incidence of the mast with a surface that supports the mast, and a second position defined by a second angle of incidence of the mast with the surface. The carriage traverses the mast and has one or more connectors that selectively secure the object to the carriage. The mast and the carriage are operative to transport the object along the surface when the mast is in the first position, and to facilitate engagement and disengagement of the one or more connectors with the object when the mast is in the second position.
PALLET TRUCK
A pallet truck comprises a rolling frame (10) and at least one force sensor (51, 52) for registering and generating as electronic output signal a loading of a load platform (20). The force sensor is coupled to electronic processing means for receiving and processing the output signal, and display means (65) are provided for generating a visual weight indication. At least a part of the processing means is accommodated together with a first electronic power supply in a first housing (50) forming part of the frame (10). The display means (65) are arranged together with a second electronic power supply in a second housing (60) on or close to a handle (45) of an operating arm. A wired first connection (56) is provided between the force sensor (51, 52) and the processing means. Telecommunication means are provided for establishing and maintaining a wireless second connection (57) between the first housing (50) and the second housing (60).
Pallet, a transport device, and system for transporting goods
A pallet and a transport device for the pallet. The pallet, includes a frame having side parts and a rod that extends between the side parts. A span of the rod is at least half of the length of the rod. The pallet includes foot arrangements having parts configured to guide the pallet onto a bed of the transport device. The transport device includes the bed, a chassis and articulations enabling rotation of the bed relative to the chassis. The bed includes side beams that are configured to engage with the parts of the foot arrangements thereby guiding the pallet onto the bed. A system includes the pallet and the transport device.
Attachment and support members for modular building structures
Systems and methods are provided for securing a transport device to preexisting studs or support members. One embodiment includes a clamp assembly with a compression fitting adapted to be secured to a plurality of different sized studs or wall supports, and further to support additional supports including, but not limited, horizontal support members. A transport device is further provided that is selectively connectable to clamp and support members of the disclosure. In another embodiment, a hook bracket is provided which includes a projection configured to be positioned in a hole through a stud. The extension may include a notch to engage a portion of the stud. The hook bracket includes at least one aperture adapted to secure the hook bracket to a support member operatively interconnected to the transport device.
LOAD MANEUVERING
A method to maneuver a load is disclosed, and includes providing a set of uprights, including spacing a set of front legs laterally apart from one another, to extend in a generally vertical direction, and spacing a set of rear legs laterally apart from one another and longitudinally from the set of front legs, to extend in a generally vertical direction. The method also includes coupling a set of front arms to the set of front legs in a generally vertically adjustable manner, coupling a set of rear arms to the set of rear legs in a generally vertically adjustable manner, providing a set of rollers to support the front and rear legs to facilitate rolling of the apparatus over the ground, suspending a load in a space between the arms, and adjustably moving the uprights in a direction toward one another to maneuver the load.
Helicopter Dolly
An apparatus including a platform, casters attached to the platform, and a carriage supported by the platform is described. The carriage includes a left arm, a right arm, and an actuation mechanism. The left arm can pivot about a left lateral axis, and the right arm can pivot about a right lateral axis. The actuation mechanism allows a distance between a proximal end of the left arm and a proximal end of the right arm to be modified. Increasing the distance causes a distal end of the left arm and a distal end of the right arm to swing towards each other. Decreasing the distance causes the distal end of the left arm and the distal end of the right are to swing away from each other. The apparatus provides a convenient means by which to move a helicopter equipped with skids while the helicopter is on the ground.
