Supportive Cushion and Shopping Cart Restraint for Child or Infant
A supportive cushion and restraint for an infant or young child in a shopping cart seat which includes an upper cushioned body that provides torso and back support by including a rigid plastic sheet insert located posterior and parallel to compressed polyester padding; and is hinged at a horizontal seam to a lower cushioned body (the seat portion), which encloses compressed polyester padding; a wide belt that secures by hook and loop type fasteners and extends from the upper cushioned body, wrapping forward around the torso, securing the child in place and adjusting to most girths; the upper and lower cushioned bodies are enclosed in the same durable fabric as the wide belt; two pairs of heavy duty strap-and-buckle units extend from the upper cushioned body, providing the means to secure the upper cushioned body to the shopping cart basket, and ensuring proper support and comfortable restraint of the child.

Disposable cover for a high chair
For use with a high chair of the type commonly provided by a restaurant, a disposable cover has an inside portion that is nested into a seating volume of the high chair, and an outside portion that covers the outside of the high chair. There are leg apertures in the inside portion and outside portion such that a child's legs pass through the various leg apertures and desirably pull the disposable cover over a safety bar of the high chair, thereby properly positioning the disposable cover without the need for adhesives or fasteners. Complimentary pairs of seat belt apertures in the inside portion and outside portion may be provided to additionally position the disposable cover and prevent it from being pulled into the seating volume of the high chair by an active child.
Transportable child seat for shopping cart
A transportable child seat for use in a shopping cart includes a bottom panel, a back panel connected to the bottom panel, a pair of side panels connected to the bottom panel and the back panel, wherein the bottom panel and the back panel are of at least a width slightly less than a width of the bottom frame, an exterior of each of the back panel and the side panels include an inverted hook such that when the hook of the back panel and the hooks of the side panels are disposed over the top edge, the bottom panel is retained in a position above the bottom frame.
