A collapsible chassis for strollers includes a base frame supporting at least one front post and at least one rear post with wheel assemblies. The base frame further support at least one handle tube. An actuation element is supported by the base frame and is actuated by the user to move the chassis from the open condition to the closed condition. The actuation element is movable with respect to both the handle tube and the movable post and is connected by way of a first kinematic connection element to the movable post and by way of a second kinematic connection element to the handle tube. Actuating the actuation element causes the rotation of the movable post and handle tube. A third kinematic connection element is provided which includes an articulation element adapted to cause a motion of mutual approach in a transverse direction of the two rear posts.

A stroller includes a frame, a first locking mechanism, a folding mechanism and a second locking mechanism. The frame is configured to be folded and unfolded between a folded state and an unfolded state. The first locking mechanism is disposed on the frame and for locking the unfolded frame and restraining the frame from being folded when the frame is in the unfolded state. The folding mechanism is movably disposed on the frame and connected to the first locking mechanism for driving the first locking mechanism to allow the frame to be folded. The second locking mechanism is disposed on the folding mechanism and separably abuts against the frame for restraining the folding mechanism from driving the first locking mechanism so as to lock the unfolded frame.

A folding mechanism for a stroller including a cover, a front leg connector pivoted to the cover, a rear leg connector pivoted to the front leg connector, and a front guard member pivoted to the front leg connector is disclosed. A pair of connection arms extends from the front guard member. The folding mechanism includes a rotatable member pivoted to the cover and detachably connected to the connection arm. An abutting portion protrudes from the rotatable member. When the rear leg connector is unfolding, the rear leg connector abuts against the abutting portion and drives the front guard member rotating relative to the cover to an unfolded position. When the rear leg connector is folding, the rear leg connector is detached from the abutting portion to release the front guard member to a folded position.

In some countries, it is a legal requirement for babies, infants and children under a certain age and/or height to be provided with a supplemental car seat when travelling in a vehicle. Furthermore, parents and guardians of children typically make use of a pram to transport a child. However, babies and infants grow quickly and may outgrow conventional car seats and prams within a year or two years. Therefore, a parent or guardian must typically provide several car seats and prams for their child. The present disclosure provides a child car seat system 100 including an infant carrier module 200 that may be releasably docked within a docking module 300 or a wheeled frame 400 to form a car seat and a pram respectively. The infant carrier module 200 may be arranged in an upright position or a lie flat position.
