TRAVEL SYSTEM HAVING A CHILD CARRIER WITH HANDLE THAT EXTENDS AND/OR ROTATES

In one example, a travel system has a child carriage and a child carrier that removably couples to the child carriage. The carriage has a frame and wheels attached thereto. The carrier has a frame or body that supports a child therein, a handle coupled to the frame or body, a handle rotation lock, and a handle extension lock. The handle extends, retracts, and rotates relative to the frame or body to different rotational positions. The handle rotation lock selectively locks the handle in each of the rotational positions, and the handle extension lock selective locks the handle in extended and retracted positions. The carrier can have (i) a rotation stop that selectively blocks rotation of the handle when the handle is extended and/or (ii) an extension stop that selectively blocks extension of the handle when the handle is in a position for hand carrying the carrier.

Child stroller apparatus having an expandable frame

A child stroller apparatus includes a first frame portion provided with a first wheel assembly, a second frame portion provided with a second wheel assembly, the second frame portion being assembled with the first frame portion for sliding movement along a lengthwise axis extending from a front to a rear of the child stroller apparatus, and a control mechanism operable to adjust a position of the second frame portion relative to the first frame portion, the control mechanism including an actuator assembled with one of the first and second frame portions, the actuator being operable to drive the second frame portion in sliding movement relative to the first frame portion for modifying a distance between the first and second wheel assemblies.

Child restraint seat

A child restraint seat includes a seat unit, a locking mechanism and a releasing handle. The locking mechanism is disposed on the seat unit and adapted to fix the seat unit onto a first external structural unit. The locking mechanism includes a latch base disposed on the seat unit, a first latching component movably disposed on the latch base, and a lock releasing component connected to the first latching component. The first latching component is adapted to move relative to a first constraining component of the first external structural unit for switching between a closed position and an open position. The releasing handle is disposed on the seat unit and connected to the lock releasing component, the releasing handle is utilized to drive the lock releasing component to move the first latching component from the closed position to the open position.

A baby carriage frame has a frame body, a front-seat panel, a rear-seat panel, and two rear-seat fixing assemblies. The two seat panels are mounted on the frame body, and the rear-seat panel is front-and-rear moveable. Two clamping recesses in a bottom of the rear-seat panel are downwardly disposed around the frame body. Each rear-seat fixing assembly has a seat pivot frame and a seat clamping panel pivotally connected to each other, and the seat clamping panel has a seat eccentric part to abut tightly against a transverse side of the rear-seat panel to fix the rear-seat panel on the frame body, which is convenient and quick in use. The clamping recesses on a bottom of the rear-seat panel enable the rear-seat panel to move continuously front-and-rear along the frame body in one step, thereby adjusting the space between the two seat panels to be adapted to various situations.

Carrier mounting

A carrier mounting (3a, 3b) for supporting an infant carrier on a pushchair chassis, the mounting comprising a socket member having a first socket (17) and a second socket (19) therein, both sockets being configured to receive a correspondingly shaped mounting strut of an infant carrier. The socket member is pivotable between first and second positions such that when the carrier mounting is connected to a pushchair chassis, the first or second socket (17, 19) respectively is locatable in a receiving position in which a longitudinal axis of the respective socket bore is oriented with respect to the pushchair chassis at an angle suitable for receiving a mounting strut of an infant carrier. When the second socket (19) is in its receiving position, said second socket (19) supports the infant carrier at a higher point on the pushchair chassis than the first socket (17). The carrier mounting further comprises a locking mechanism (23) configured to releasably hold the socket member in each of the first and second positions, and to allow pivoting therebetween.

An infant stroller apparatus includes a first and a second leg frame respectively having a first and a second side segment respectively connected fixedly with a first and a second coupling part, and a handle frame having a third side segment fixedly connected with a third coupling part. The second and third coupling parts are respectively connected pivotally with the first coupling part. Moreover, the infant stroller apparatus includes a first latch operable to rotationally lock the handle frame with respect to the first leg frame, a second latch operable to rotationally lock the second leg frame with respect to the first leg frame, and a linkage assembly respectively connected with the third coupling part and the second latch such that a folding rotation of the handle frame relative to the first leg frame urges an unlocking displacement of the second latch.

The present invention relates to a foldable tricycle, operable between a first mode of operation steerable by a tricycle rider, and a second mode of operation steerable by an attendant pushing the tricycle. The tricycle comprising: a pair of rear wheels, each rotatably supported by a rear support; a foldable seat comprising a chair and a back support, for accommodating said tricycle rider; a foldable arm rest, connected to said foldable seat; a parental handle, for steering said tricycle by said attendant pushing the tricycle; a main frame, configured to rotatably hold said rear support, to support said foldable seat, to rotatably support said rider handle, to rotatably support said fork; and a latching mechanism, capable of locking and unlocking the rotatable movement, of the rear support, in relations to the main frame.

Carrier transporter

A carrier transporter is described which is retractable into a low-profile configuration, and extendable to accommodate a carrier or child seat. An adjustable height bar positions a securing device to coincide with a belt path of the carrier and allow a strap to be lead through the belt path and re-secured back to the bar through a buckle. The base of the carrier is supported by an extendable base platform having grip padding to further secure the base to the transporter. The base platform and wheels move together when retracting the transporter and move away from each other when extending the transporter.
