COVER MEMBER FOR A CHILD PROTECTION SYSTEM

A child protection system is provided with a cover member that is interchangeable between different child carriers, such as an infant car seat and a stroller. The interchangeable cover member protects a child occupant from sun, wind, weather, insects, germs and provides privacy. The cover member is removably coupled to an anchor member, such as a canopy, of an infant car seat when in a first position. The cover member is removably coupled to an anchor member, such as a bumper bar, of a stroller when in a second position.

CHILD PROTECTION SYSTEM

A child protection system is provided with a cover member that is coupled to a bar member of a child carrier, such as a stroller. The bar member is attached to the child carrier and extends across and is spaced away from the seat of the child carrier. A first end of the cover member is secured to the bar member. In some aspects, a second cover member is attached to another side of the bar member such that the first cover member may provide protection to an upper portion of a child occupant while the second cover member may provide protection of a lower portion of a child occupant.

A heated stroller provides a warm environment for a child or infant. The heated stroller includes a heating pad that is carried with a carriage, providing an enclosure for containing the child or infant. A cover may be coupled with the carriage to define an enclosed space. A control panel is operable to control the heating pad and is connected with a battery, which may be carried with the carriage. A frame assembly, supported by wheels, may be provided for supporting the carriage as a stroller. The frame assembly includes an upright handle that allows a user of the heated stroller to control the stroller. The frame assembly may be foldable to compact the stroller for transport in a vehicle, or storage.

An infant car seat includes a seat main body having a handle mount, a canopy unit operable to positionally cover the seat main body, and a handle mounted to the handle mount of the seat main body. The handle is rotatable relative to the handle mount about a mounting axis, and is operably connected to the canopy unit so that rotation of the handle relative to the handle mount drives the canopy unit to move relative to the seat main body.

A side-opening child car chassis and a side-opening child car refer to a child car technical field. The side-opening child car chassis includes a main load-supporting chassis, car body connection assemblies, stabilizer brackets, a reinforcement member lock device, and an unlock device. The main load-supporting chassis includes a middle protective chassis and a rear chassis and a front chassis that are respectively and rotatably mounted at a front side and a rear side of the middle protective chassis. The locking mechanism is configured to releasably lock the foldable frame assembly in its use configuration and/or storage configuration by releasably and internally locking at least one of a respective swivel joint assembly of the frame assembly. The locking mechanism includes an actuation element configured to adjust the locking mechanism between the unlocked and the locked position that is arranged spaced apart transversely to a swivel axis of the respective at least one internally lockable swivel joint.

A fabric portion provides privacy or shade for the infant and is shaped to ensure coverage of a user while nursing. A mesh portion provides airflow to the user and baby to prevent overheating and completes the shape of the cover. The cover has a first opening and a second opening which define a passage through the cover through which a user's torso, a baby car seat, a high chair, or other object may pass through partially or wholly. Fasteners around the second opening of the cover reduce the size of the second opening when secured and keep the cover in place on a user's shoulder or on an upper portion of a car seat or high chair.

A battery is mounted on the carriage frame and is electrically coupled to the motor. A control is mounted on the carriage frame and is electrically coupled to the motor and is actuated to drive the first wheel in the first direction. A platform is attached to a rear side of the carriage and extends rearwardly therefrom. The platform is positioned near a bottom of the carriage. The platform supports a person standing on the platform. A canopy is pivotally coupled to the carriage frame and is extendable over the child seat.
