Steering actuators for vehicles
Steering actuators for vehicles are described herein. An example actuator includes a rack to be coupled to a knuckle of a vehicle, a ball nut coupled to the rack, a ring gear coupled to the ball nut, and a motor with a pinion engaged with the ring gear. The motor is to rotate the ball nut, via the pinion and the ring gear, to move the rack linearly.
Electric power steering device
An electric power steering device including a column actuator disposed on a column side of the intermediate shaft and outputting a column assist torque; a rack actuator disposed on a rack side of the intermediate shaft and outputting a rack assist torque; a column torque sensor coaxially disposed with the steering shaft and detecting a column torsion torque; a rack torque sensor coaxially disposed with the intermediate shaft and detecting a rack torsion torque; and a calculator calculating instruction values of the column assist torque and the rack assist torque based on the torsion torques.
STEERING APPARATUS
A steering apparatus includes a turning shaft movable in a vehicle widthwise direction, a pinion shaft meshed with the turning shaft and a first housing that retains therein the turning shaft and the pinion shaft. An inner circumferential surface of the first housing facing with the turning shaft is provided with an inclined portion that continuously changes an internal diameter. When a portion where a tooth of the turning shaft and a tooth of the pinion shaft are meshed with each other is defined as a meshed portion, the inclined portion is formed below at least the meshed portion.
CONTROL DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
A control device for a vehicle includes a plurality of control circuits configured to control a control object in cooperation or in combination by starting with powering-on of a vehicle as a trigger. Each of the plurality of control circuits is configured to perform a synchronization process and power latch control. Each of the plurality of control circuits is configured to maintain the operation mode immediately before the vehicle has been powered off in a period in which the power latch control is being performed. Each of the plurality of control circuits is configured not to perform the synchronization process in a predetermined period when the vehicle has been powered on.
Steering control device
A driving assistance control device outputs a driving assistance command value to a steering control device as information indicating a target course that is generated on the basis of the detection result of a vehicle-mounted sensor. The driving assistance command value is output as a torque component or an angle component depending on the design of the driving assistance control device. In response, processing in which a driving assistance command value input from the exterior of the steering control device is used as input for angle control processing or input for torque control processing within an assist command value calculation unit is performed by a microcomputer as assistance command value input processing by an assistance command value input processing unit.
STEERING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
According to the present embodiments, it is possible to ensure normal steering and the driver's safety by preventing jumping without proper engagement between the teeth of the pulley and the belt.
Steering control device and method for controlling steering system
A steering control device for a steering system includes an electronic control unit configured to: calculate target torque that is a target value of the motor torque; control operation of the motor; calculate a vehicle speed basic axial force based on a detected vehicle speed; calculate another state quantity basic axial force based on a state quantity other than the detected vehicle speed; calculate a distributed axial force by adding the vehicle speed basic axial force and the other state quantity basic axial force at individually set distribution ratios; calculate the target torque based on the distributed axial force; and reduce the distribution ratio of the vehicle speed basic axial force when the detected vehicle speed is abnormal as compared to when the detected vehicle speed is normal.
Rack assist electric power steering apparatus
A rack assist electric power steering apparatus. Shock between a rotary support member and a housing is absorbed. Backlash and friction in the rotary support member are reduced. The length of a ball nut is minimized, and the rotary support member is supported by a portion in which the ball nut and a rack bar are coupled, so that noise is reduced.
Cellulose-containing gear
A gear is provided that has excellent continuous moldability for practical use, and both high slidability and high durability. The provided gear is a molded resin constructed of a resin composition comprising a thermoplastic resin (A) and cellulose nanofibers (B) with an average fiber diameter of 1000 nm or smaller, and having a number average molecular weight of the thermoplastic resin (A) in the range of 10,000 to 150,000, wherein a sliding surface of the gear with another gear teeth has an arithmetic mean surface roughness Sa of 3.0 .Math.m or lower.
STEERING DEVICE
A steering device includes: a worm wheel linked to a steering shaft; a worm shaft engaging with the worm wheel; an electric motor supplying rotational force to the worm shaft and including a motor shaft connected to a first end of the worm shaft; a gear housing containing the worm wheel and the worm shaft; a bearing supporting a second end of the worm shaft; a center adjuster that is contained in the gear housing and includes a holder and a collar, wherein the collar is disposed in the holder and retains the bearing so as to allow the bearing to move with respect to the holder in a gear engagement direction; and a biasing member disposed in the center adjuster and structured to bias the bearing in a direction inclined with respect to the gear engagement direction.
