ELECTRIC POWER STEERING APPARATUS
An electric power steering apparatus includes: a pinion shaft connected to a steering shaft coupled to a steering wheel, the pinion shaft being configured to transmit an operation of the steering wheel by a driver; a rack bar elongated along a lateral direction of a vehicle, having a first screw recess defined with a predetermined length in a portion of an outer circumferential surface of the rack bar, and including, on one side, a rack gear coupled to and interlocked with the pinion shaft; a motor configured to generate a steering assist power in proportion to a steering torque applied to the steering wheel; and a roller screw unit rotatably engaged with and coupled to the first screw recess to transmit the steering assist power generated from the motor to the rack bar.
STEERING APPARATUS
A steering apparatus includes a turning shaft movable in a vehicle widthwise direction, a pinion shaft meshed with the turning shaft and a first housing that retains therein the turning shaft and the pinion shaft. An inner circumferential surface of the first housing facing with the turning shaft is provided with an inclined portion that continuously changes an internal diameter. When a portion where a tooth of the turning shaft and a tooth of the pinion shaft are meshed with each other is defined as a meshed portion, the inclined portion is formed below at least the meshed portion.
REAR WHEEL STEERING APPARATUS
A rear wheel steering apparatus may include: a driving part housed in a housing part; a rotating part rotated by the driving part; a moving shaft part connected to tie rods, and screwed to the rotating part; a spline plate spline-coupled to the moving shaft part so as to restrict rotation of the moving shaft part; and a space maintaining part protruding from the moving shaft part or the spline plate, and maintaining a space between the moving shaft part and the spline plate.
Steering system actuator, and use of the actuator in a steer-by-wire steering system
An actuator of a steering system having a housing (2), a spindle drive arranged in the housing (2) which includes an axially movable spindle (5) that engages with a spindle nut (6) mounted in a fixed position. The spindle has at least one fastening end (8, 9), and at least one bearing journal (10, 11) arranged and able to move in the housing (2). The journal is connected to the at least one fastening end (8, 9) of the spindle (5), with at least one joint connection component (3, 4) which is arranged outside the housing (2) and is connected to the at least one bearing journal (10, 11). The at least one bearing journal (10, 11, 110) has a constriction (10v, 11v) that forms a flexible zone (122).
STEERING APPARATUS AND ASSEMBLY METHOD THEREOF
The embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a steering apparatus and an assembly method thereof, may provide a steering apparatus and an assembly method thereof capable of reducing the fluctuation range of torque ripple in using a double motor and double reducer structure, thereby relieving a fatigue and discomfort of a driver.
Actuator with a spindle drive and rear-axle steering system
Actuator having a spindle drive (1) for a rear wheel steering system, including a spindle (2) with a spindle thread (2a) and a spindle nut (3) with a nut thread (3a). The spindle thread (2a) and the nut thread (3a) are designed as displacement threads and the spindle nut (3) threadedly engages with the axially displaceable spindle (2) by way of the displacement thread. The spindle thread (2a) and the nut thread (3a) are braced against one another, in the longitudinal direction of the spindle (2), by a bracing element (4). The bracing element (4) is in the form of a threaded ring having an internal thread (4a) which engages with the spindle thread (2a). The threaded ring (4) is supported relative to the spindle nut (3) by at least one spring element (5, 6), and the at least one spring element (5, 6) is made of an elastomer.
STEER-BY-WIRE TYPE STEERING APPARATUS
According to the present embodiments, it is possible to provide a steer-by-wire type steering apparatus which: limits a steering wheel operation of a driver within a maximum rotation angle, thereby increasing steering feel for the driver; prevents a clock spring installed on a steering wheel from being damaged, and enables parts to be manufactured and processed more easily; enables simple assembly; has small interference with surrounding parts, and thus the apparatus can be designed in various structures; and is advantageous in terms of packaging.
STEER-BY-WIRE STEERING DEVICE
According to embodiments, it is possible to restrict the maximum rotation angle of the steering wheel by a simple structure to thereby provide the driver with a better steering feeling, easily meet the maximum rotation angle corresponding to the requirements for each vehicle type, facilitate part processing and assembly, prevent misassembly between parts and thus enhance mass productivity, and prevent damage to parts and steering wheel idling by impacts at the maximum rotation angle.
STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY
A steering wheel assembly for a vehicle includes a support member connectable to a vehicle steering column. A steering wheel has first and second rim portions. At least one of the first and second rim portions is pivotable about a pivot axis between a steering position and a folded position. At least one linear actuator is connected to the support member and operably connected to at least one of the first and second rim portions. Actuation of the linear actuator pivots at least one of the first and second rim portions about the pivot axis.
Adjusting device for a chassis of a motor vehicle and rear-axle steering system
An adjustment device (1) for a chassis of a motor vehicle. The adjustment device has an actuator (2) with a housing (5) and a spindle drive, which has an axially displaceable spindle (10), with a fixed mounting (7) on the vehicle side and a connecting element (4) on the chassis side. The spindle (10) is extended in a direction of its longitudinal axis by an extension piece (11), and the connecting element (4) is attached to the outer end (11b) of the extension piece (11).
