Steering gear for a steer-by-wire steering system
A steering gear for a steer-by-wire steering system of a motor vehicle may include an electric motor having a motor shaft. The motor shaft drives a spindle of a worm gear, and the worm gear comprises a spindle nut in such a manner that a rotational movement originating from the motor shaft is converted into a linear movement of the spindle nut along an axis. The spindle nut, for purposes of steering wheels of the motor vehicle, is connected to at least one tie rod. The worm gear may be a ball screw drive, a trapezoidal drive, or a roller screw drive.
STEERING SYSTEM
A steering system includes a tie rod and an actuator assembly. The tie rod is movably disposed within a tie rod housing. The actuator assembly includes a first member and a second member. The first member extends from an actuator. The second member has a second member first end operatively connected to the first member and a second member second end operatively connected to the tie rod. The second member first end is arranged to translate the tie rod along a first axis responsive to the actuator moving the second member first end relative to a second axis.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING THREADED SHAFT FOR POWER STEERING DEVICE, AND POWER STEERING DEVICE
In a power steering device equipped with a rack shaft constructed by joining a first member having rack teeth and a second member serving as a ball screw shaft on which a ball screw groove is formed, a grinding process of the ball screw groove is performed on the second member by causing a grindstone to rotate and move along a rotation axis of the second member, while causing the second member to rotate about an axis of the second member as the rotation axis. The grinding process is performed so as to satisfy a specified machining condition g/(5p)<w<g/p, where w is a rotational speed of the second member during grinding of the ball screw groove, g is a rotational speed of the grindstone during grinding of the ball screw groove, and p is a circumferential length of one circumference of the ball screw groove around the rotation axis.
Steer-by-wire steering gear having a hollow shaft motor and a ball screw drive
A steering gear for a steer-by-wire steering system of a motor vehicle may include a hollow shaft motor with a stator that is fixed to a housing and a rotatably supported rotor that is arranged coaxially with respect to a longitudinal axis. A worm gear may extend through the rotatably supported rotor. The worm gear comprises a spindle nut that is arranged coaxially relative to the longitudinal axis, that is connected in terms of driving to the rotor, and that is located on a spindle that is displaceable by way of the hollow shaft motor along the longitudinal axis. The angle of inclination of the worm gear may be less than 4.5?.
STEERING DEVICE OF VEHICLE
According to the present embodiments, it is possible to rapidly perform an operation of storing and withdrawing a steering wheel for securing a space in a driver's seat, and strengthen the rigidity of, and easily adjust, the operation of the steering column for storing and withdrawing the steering wheel.
Belt pulley and steering gear
A belt pulley (28) for a gear mechanism has a hollow cylindrical body (36) and a disc-like fixing flange (42) which is molded onto an axial end of the body (36), protrudes radially inward, and has a central cutout (44). The fixing flange (42) has at least one first contact face (60) on its inside and the body (36) has at least one second contact face (64) on an inside. The first contact face (60) and the second contact face (64) are offset to each other in the circumferential direction relative to a central axis of the body (36). A steering gear for a vehicle is also disclosed, wherein the steering gear comprises a belt pulley (28).
UTILITY VEHICLE STEERING SYSTEM
A utility vehicle steering system includes a steering gear for transmitting a manual torque from a steering wheel to a steering drop arm. An electric motor provides an auxiliary torque for the steering boost, which is provided exclusively electrically over the entire operating range of the steering system. An input shaft and an output shaft have axes of rotation that are skewed with respect to each other. A first gear device couples the input shaft to the output shaft. A second gear device has the electric motor connected to the input side and has at least one speed-reduction gear stage in the form of a coaxial gear with a high transmission ratio. The output side of the second gear device is coupled to the output shaft and its speed reduction gear stage, a coaxial gear with a high transmission ratio, is coaxial with the output shaft.
LEAD SCREW STRUCTURE AND ASSEMBLY AND REAR WHEEL STEERING APPARATUS USING THE SAME
A lead screw structure comprises a screw shaft having a thread on an outer circumferential surface thereof, a nut unit coupled to the screw shaft such that and a thread formed on an inner circumferential surface of the nut unit is engaged with the thread of the screw shaft, and a first elastic member disposed on a portion of the nut portion, in a direction of the screw shaft, to provide an elastic force to the nut portion in the screw shaft, thereby compensating for a gap between the thread of the outer circumferential surface of the screw shaft and the thread of the inner circumferential surface of the nut unit.
SPINDLE DRIVE AND AN ACTUATOR COMPRISING A SPINDLE DRIVE
A spindle drive (1) having a spindle (2) with a spindle thread (2a), and spindle nut (3) with a nut thread (3a). The spindle thread (2a) and the nut thread (3a) form a movement thread (4) having a crown clearance (5), a root clearance (6) and a flank clearance. The spindle (2) and the spindle nut (3) can be centered by virtue of a reduced crown clearance (5) and/or a reduced root clearance (6).
POSITION SENSOR
