Steering system with drag link
A steering system includes a mounting bracket, a drag link elongated from a first end rotatably coupled to the mounting bracket to a second end, a steering arm rotatably coupled to the second end, and a telescoping shaft rotatably coupled to the drag link. The drag link includes a housing and a rack slidable in the housing. The telescoping shaft is operably coupled to the drag link to slide the rack relative to the housing when the telescoping shaft rotates.
Vehicle control systems and methods
Systems and methods for controlling the speed and direction of vehicles such as tractors.

Steering gear for a vehicle, vehicle, method for controlling a steering gear and method for steering a vehicle
A steering gear for a vehicle includes a linear drive having at least one displacement element, which is displaceable substantially along a vehicle longitudinal axis of the vehicle and which is fastenable to a steering drag link of the vehicle, in which the linear drive is configured to convert a rotational movement of a steering column of the vehicle into a movement of the displacement element substantially along the vehicle longitudinal axis. Also described is a related vehicle having the steering gear, a method for actuating the steering gear, and a method for steering the vehicle.

Twisted bar for attaching a steering cylinder of a vehicle to a wheel axle, vehicle comprising such a bar and process for manufacturing such a bar
A bar is designed for attaching a steering cylinder of a vehicle to a wheel axle. The bar is twisted around its longitudinal axis. The bar is manufactured by cutting out a rectangular plate of metallic material or of composite material, clamping the longitudinal ends of the cut-out plate, and pivoting one end or pivoting both ends in opposite directions, around a longitudinal axis of the plate.

Rear axle steering system and methods of using the same
The disclosure relates to a steering system useful for providing stable control during rear axle steering of harvesters, such as self-propelled windrowers. The steering system utilizes a single steering cylinder and retracted caster cylinders to regulate rotation of the casters during rear axle road operation mode. The steering system locks the steering cylinder and uses the caster cylinders for damping during in-field operation mode.
