A vehicle front portion structure that includes connecting members that each have a front side connecting portion that is disposed at a vehicle longitudinal direction front side and at which a first joined portion that is joined to a radiator support and a second joined portion that is joined to a lover member are formed, a rear side connecting portion that is disposed at a vehicle longitudinal direction rear side and at which the first joined portion and the second joined portion are formed, and an outer side cut-out portion that is cut out from a vehicle transverse direction outer side and that is formed at a position that, in the vehicle longitudinal direction, is between the second joined portions of both a front side connecting portion and a rear side connecting portion.

Device for sealing the air intake of a motor vehicle, corresponding front-end module and motor vehicle

The invention relates to a device (1) for sealing an air intake of a motor vehicle, comprising: at least one sealing means (3) intended to be arranged in an air intake of the motor vehicle, and a support (5) for the sealing means (3) in order to retain the sealing means (3) and intended to be attached on a load-bearing structure of the motor vehicle. According to the invention, the support (5) comprises damping guidance means (15) for the sealing means (3) in order to allow, in the event of an impact on the sealing means (3), the movement of the sealing means (3) from an initial retaining position to a position retracted with respect to the initial position. The invention also relates to a front-end module for a motor vehicle comprising such a sealing device.

Motor vehicle

A motor vehicle has a container for receiving liquids arranged in a motor compartment of the motor vehicle in a space-saving manner. The two front end sections of the two front axle supports are connected together by two transverse supports, which are arranged at a distance from each other in the vehicle longitudinal direction, and the container for receiving liquids is arranged in the intermediate space between the two front axle supports.

Vehicle with articulating grille

A vehicle includes a body structure defining a front trunk having a front opening. A grille coves the front opening in a closed position and is pivotable about a vertical hinge, or a horizontal hinge along a top edge, secured to the body structure to provide access to the front opening. The grille may include a bin mounted on an inner surface of the grille and pivotable with the grille, a heating/cooling duct or a video display.

Frame assembly for a vehicle and vehicle having same

A front frame assembly for mounting a front suspension and wheel assembly of a vehicle can include a pair of longitudinally extending frame members, a pair of upwardly extending frame members, and a transverse bracket frame member extending transversely from and connected to each of the upwardly extending frame members. The transverse bracket can include mount structures for connecting to various vehicle components, such as a pair of dampers, a radiator, hood cushions, and a headlight assembly. The transverse bracket can be locate in an upper portion of the vehicle engine compartment, and extending above a top most position of the radiator.

Vehicle front body structure having bracket coupling structure

A bracket coupling structure includes a pair of brackets each coupling an upper part of a radiator support with a bumper R/F, and a hood lock coupled with the pair of brackets. The radiator support upper part is disposed in an upper portion of a front body structure and extends in a vehicle width direction for supporting an upper portion of a radiator body. The bumper R/F is disposed in a front portion of the front body structure and extends in the vehicle width direction. This structure provides a bracket structure which disperses a load generated when a force in the vertical compression direction acts on the hood lock in the front body structure.

ATTACHMENT AND CONNECTING STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE COMPONENT

An attachment is configured to connect a first connecting plate of a vehicle component to a second connecting plate of a vehicle body. The attachment includes a body, first, second and third flanges, and a press-fit insert. The attachment is of an elastically deformable material and is configured to be inserted into first and second through holes of the first and second connecting plates. The flanges engage the connecting plates when the attachment is inserted into the through holes. The body includes a hole extending longitudinally within the body to accommodate the press-fit insert. The press-fit insert has a diameter greater than the diameter of the hole to form a snug connection between the press-fit insert and the hole. The insertion of the press-fit insert into the hole elastically deforms the attachment to urge the body radially against the connecting plates to provide a robust connection between the connecting plates.

ENGINE COOLING ASSEMBLY

Methods and systems are provided for a cooling module assembly for a vehicle. In one example, the cooling module assembly includes a first set of fins arranged in a circle, configured to flow a first fluid through a first sinusoidal, continuous inner passage, and a second set of fins, also arranged in a circle and configured to flow a second fluid through a second sinusoidal, continuous inner passage. The second set of fins shares a common plane with the first set of fins and is arranged concentric about the first set of fins.

Dampener for isolated vibration issues

A system for dampening vibrations in a vehicle is provided. The system includes a first heat exchanger core having a first plurality of fins, and a second heat exchanger core having a second plurality of fins. A vibration dampener is connected to the first and second heat exchanger cores. The vibration dampener extends through the first plurality of fins and through the second plurality of fins, while spanning the gap between the first and second heat exchanger cores. To accommodate the vibration dampener passing thorough the fins, the fins may be formed to define an enlarged aperture at a location where the vibration dampener passes through.

VEHICLE FRONT STRUCTURE

A vehicle front structure includes a grille stay located behind a bumper panel having a grille opening, and a stay cover disposed to cover a rear portion of the grille stay. The grill stay faces an upper portion of the bumper panel from behind. The grille stay includes a front portion and a rear portion, and the rear portion has a smaller cross sectional area than the front portion. The grill stay further includes a step portion at a boundary between the front portion and the rear portion. The stay cover includes a front end that is disposed to face a rear face of the step portion.
