Front end structure for vehicle

A front end structure for a vehicle includes: a pair of front side members; a front bumper beam located in front of the pair of front side members; a pair of bumper beam extensions respectively extending from both ends of the front bumper beam toward both sides of the vehicle; and a pair of catching members attached to the pair of front side members, respectively. In particular, each bumper beam extension is curved toward the rear of the vehicle, and each catching member protrudes from a corresponding front side member toward the bumper beam extension.

Vehicle front structure

A vehicle front structure includes: a front side member disposed on a front of a vehicle; a bumper beam mounting bracket joined to a front end surface of the front side member; a subframe mounting bracket joined to a rear surface of the bumper beam mounting bracket, and having a seating surface to which a front end of a front subframe is joined; a heat exchanger support joined to the bumper beam mounting bracket; and a first reinforcing member joining the bumper beam mounting bracket and the heat exchanger support.

UPPER BODY HEAT EXCHANGER FOR VEHICLES

Embodiments of an upper body heat exchanger for a vehicle are described. In one embodiment, an upper body heat exchanger includes a first portion comprising a plurality of fins disposed on a first surface. The upper body heat exchanger also includes a second portion comprising a plurality of heat transfer fluid passages disposed on a second surface of the upper body heat exchanger. The second portion is disposed beneath the first portion. The upper body heat exchanger is mounted on the vehicle such that the first surface of the first portion of the upper body heat exchanger is exposed. The plurality of heat transfer fluid passages are configured to transfer heat from heated fluid flowing through the plurality of heat transfer fluid passages to airflows interacting with the plurality of fins as the vehicle is moving.
