Vehicle body front structure
A vehicle body front structure has: an object detection device disposed in a vehicle front end section of a vehicle to detect an object ahead of the vehicle; and a pair of bracket members which are spaced apart from each other in a vehicle width direction and which support the object detection device. Each of the pair of bracket members includes: a forwardly extending portion that extends forward from a vehicle body member; and a downwardly extending portion that extends downward from the forwardly extending portion and supports the object detection device. The vehicle body front structure further has a bracket member locking member which couples the forwardly extending portions to each other in the vehicle width direction and to which an exterior member of the vehicle is attached.
VEHICLE FRONT STRUCTURE
A torque rod connects a drive unit and a suspension member. The suspension member has a hollow structure and having a front wall opening formed in a front wall. A rear end of the torque rod is coupled to the suspension member in an interior space of the suspension member, and a front end of the torque rod is coupled to the drive unit via a bracket. A gap between the front wall opening and an opening-corresponding portion of the torque rod that corresponds to the front wall opening is 3 mm or less on a left side and/or a right side of the opening-corresponding portion.
FRONT END STRUCTURE OF VEHICLE BODY
A front end structure of a vehicle body may include: a horn; a bumper cover; an inner grille disposed between the horn and the bumper cover, and a megaphone including a megaphone wall defining a megaphone opening extending along a direction along which the horn and the bumper cover are aligned, wherein a first opening end of the megaphone opposes the horn, a second opening end of the megaphone opposes the bumper cover, and the megaphone is integrated with the inner grille.
MOTOR VEHICLE WITH SCALABLE FRONT END ASSEMBLY
This disclosure relates to a scalable front end assembly for a motor vehicle. An example front end assembly includes a first component and a second component. The first component includes a first front cross member and the second component includes a second front cross member. The first front cross member overlaps the second front cross member. A method is also disclosed.
Front vehicle body structure of vehicle
A suspension having a first link member that is coupled to a front wheel and a second link member that is located on a rear side of the first link member is mounted to a suspension housing. The suspension housing has a first supporting part that supports the first link member and a second supporting part that is provided on a rear side of the first supporting part and supports the second link member. The front frame has a first fixing portion to which the first supporting part is fixed and a second fixing portion to which the second supporting part is fixed, and the first fixing portion and the second fixing portion are provided at positions different from each other in a vehicle width direction.
FRONT END STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE
A front end structure for a vehicle includes: a pair of front side members; a front bumper beam located in front of the pair of front side members; a pair of bumper beam extensions respectively extending from both ends of the front bumper beam toward both sides of the vehicle; and a pair of catching members attached to the pair of front side members, respectively. In particular, each bumper beam extension is curved toward the rear of the vehicle, and each catching member protrudes from a corresponding front side member toward the bumper beam extension.
SUPPORTING STRUCTURE FOR A FRONT-END MODULE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE AND FRONT-END MODULE COMPRISING SAID SUPPORTING STRUCTURE
The invention relates to a supporting structure (10) for a font-end module of a motor vehicle, said supporting structure (10) comprising a lower crossmember (12), a first side post (14), a second side post (16) and an upper crossmembers (18) so as to define a frame, said upper crossmember (18) being made of a hybrid material comprising a plastic material and a metal material. The invention also relates to a front-end module comprising one such supporting structure (10).
Vehicle assemblies with loose layered build components
Vehicle assemblies may include a plurality of loose layered build components. One or more of the loose layered build components may include locating features for locating and supporting the component relative to other components of the assembly while still permitting movement of the component or one of the other components in at least one direction during the assembly process.
Front vehicle body structure
A front vehicle-body structure may include a pair of front side members each disposed in a vehicle length direction at both sides of a front vehicle-body, a pair of mounting brackets each engaged with a corresponding front side member among the pair of front side members and disposed to protrude from an internal panel of the corresponding front side member in a width direction of the vehicle to face each other, a cross bar having an upper surface, a front surface, and a rear surface, having a cross-section having an open bottom side and an open lateral end portion, and engaged with the mounting bracket in a vehicle height direction thereof, and an engagement unit of engaging the cross bar to the pair of mounting brackets with a predetermined gap between the pair of front side members and the lateral end portion of the cross bar.
VEHICLE FRONT END ASSEMBLY
A vehicle front end assembly includes with a fender, a headlamp assembly and a trim pane. The fender has a front edge portion. The headlamp assembly has a housing and a lens. The lens defines an upper section and a lower section with a slot defined therebetween. The trim panel is installed to the housing within the slot. The trim panel is attached to the housing of the headlamp assembly and is retained by the front edge portion of the fender.
