Moreover, a vehicle is presented which includes such a storage assembly. Additionally, a method for closing a lid of a storage assembly of a vehicle is presented.

A vehicle-hood assembly includes a vehicle hood and an energy absorber fixed to the vehicle hood. The energy absorber is releasable from a compressed position to an uncompressed position. The energy absorber includes a chamber that is sealed and vacuum pressurized in the compressed position. An actuator is configured to unseal the chamber to release the energy absorber from the compressed position to the uncompressed position.

A trail sight for a vehicle, according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a body configured to extend in a longitudinal direction along a length of a vehicle, wherein the body comprises a first portion fixed to a vehicle body structure and a second portion that is moveable relative to the first portion between a retracted position and a deployed position.

A hood back portion moving mechanism is supported with a hinge on a side of a vehicle body such that a back end portion of a hood provided at a front portion of a vehicle body is able to be opened and closed, and the hood is lifted up by an actuator.
