Wheel casing
A wheel casing for a vehicle having a wheel assembly including a wheel and a tire. The wheel casing includes a body portion positionable adjacent an inboard surface of the tire, and a brake cooling duct defining an air inlet opening and an air outlet opening. The air outlet opening is in fluid communication with a brake system component and the air inlet opening is positionable inboard of the body portion when the body portion is positioned adjacent the inboard surface of the tire, thereby providing cooling air flow through the brake cooling duct to the brake system component when the vehicle is in forward motion. The wheel casing further includes a suspension arm undercover extending inboard of the body portion and configured to protect predetermined components of the vehicle.
Wheel well cover for a motor vehicle, and motor vehicle equipped therewith
An optically and aerodynamically improved body for a motor vehicle has a wheel well cover with at least one wheel well for receiving a wheel. The wheel well cover is designed in such a way as to be adjustable by an adjusting mechanism in accordance with the wheel angle, and includes at least two ring portions which surround part of the wheel and which are arranged in such a way as to be movable at least partially into each other and at least partially relative to one another.
LAWN MOWER FENDER
A fender for a lawn mower having tire wheel assemblies that are mounted to a yoke of a swivel caster assembly, whereby the yoke pivots through 360 degrees of rotation, includes an arcuate fender body. The fender body is attached is attached to the yoke by a bracket so that it is rotatably carried by the rotating yoke. As such, the fender body is maintained at an optimal position relative to the mower tire, and thereby provides desirable deflection of lawn clippings and other debris from the various operational components provided upon the mower deck. This prevents the premature wear of such operational components, thereby decreasing down time and reducing maintenance costs of the mower.
PROTECTIVE FLAP
A protective flap for a vehicle that runs along the arc of the wheel well and is longer than the arc such that a first end of the device is flush with the front end of the wheel well while the second end of the device protrudes out from the rear end of the wheel, thereby forming a flap. The protective flap is dimensioned to cover the entire width of the wheel well along the entire contour of the wheel well. At least a portion of the protective flap is also wider than the width of the wheel well and protrudes from the side of the wheel well. The rear flap and side protruding portion act to block debris that may be hurled out by the vehicle's wheels as the vehicle travels over wet or loose terrain.
Snow and rain deflector assembly for vehicles
A snow and rain deflector assembly for vehicles for preventing whiteout conditions on snow covered roads caused by commercial vehicles. The snow and rain deflector assembly for vehicles includes a sleeve assembly including a sleeve having a side wall and a bottom; a sleeve support assembly in communication with the sleeve and adapted to removably mount the sleeve to a vehicle such as a trailer; a panel support member removably fastened to and depending from the sleeve assembly; and panels secured to and depending from the panel support member.
Motor vehicle fender
A motor vehicle fender has inner and outer sides joined to top and bottom covers to form a four sided, closed structure having a downward extending front portion, generally straight middle portion and a downwardly extending rear portion encircling the top portion of a wheel well of a motor vehicle. The top cover angles inward toward the vehicle and downward toward the ground so the top, outer edge of the fender protrudes to deflect vegetation from the top of the fender, and the outer side angles inward and downward so the top, outer edge protrudes to deflect vertically growing vegetation from parts of the outer side of the fender.
Fender mounting system
A fender mounting system for mounting a fender disposed partially around the circumference of a wheel can include a first bracket, a second bracket, and a third bracket. The first bracket can be attached to a leading radial edge of the fender and depends toward an axis line associated with the wheel. The second bracket can be attached to the radial mid-section of the fender and depends toward the axis line. The third bracket can be attached to a radial trailing edge and depends radial toward the axis line. In an embodiment, the first and third brackets can resist lateral forces along the axis line and the second bracket allows deflection due to lateral forces along the axis line.
Multi-piece overfender assemblies and methods of mounting the same to vehicles
A vehicle includes a wheel within a wheel well, a fender panel assembly that includes a fender outer panel and a fender inner panel, the fender panel assembly at least partially surrounding the wheel well, and an overfender assembly connected to the fender panel assembly. The overfender assembly includes an overfender backing including a fender outer panel connection portion that connects to the fender outer panel and a fender inner panel connection portion that connects to the fender inner panel and an overfender garnish connected to the overfender backing. The overfender garnish and the overfender backing are formed separately of different materials.
WHEEL COVER HOLDER FOR A WHEEL OF A VEHICLE
The invention pertains to a wheel cover holder (4) for a wheel (3) of a vehicle (25), which wheel (3) is turnable relative to the vehicle (25) over a turning angle (a), wherein the wheel cover holder (4) is configured to hold at least one air-guiding cover (5, 14); the wheel cover holder (4) being configured to be connected to a steering mechanism (13) of the wheel (3) such that the wheel cover holder is turnable by the steering mechanism (13) during the steering of the wheel (3), wherein the wheel cover holder (4) is configured to turn along with the wheel (3) if the turning angle (a) is greater than a turning angle threshold, and to remain in a neutral position if the turning angle (a) is smaller than the turning angle threshold. The invention further pertains to a vehicle (25) comprising such a wheel cover holder (4).
Work vehicle
Contemplated are cost reduction and enhanced readiness of parts management related to right and left fenders. A work vehicle includes right and left fenders (16) each having a vertical plate member (18) covering an inner face of a traveling device from an inner side of a vehicle body and a top plate member (19) covering an upper portion of the traveling device (5) from above, wherein the top plate member (19) is configured to be front-rear symmetric, and each of the vertical plate member (18) and the top plate member (19) is configured to act as a right-left interchangeable member.
