LAWN MOWER FENDER
A fender for a lawn mower having tire and wheel assemblies that are mounted to a yoke of a swivel caster assembly, whereby the yoke pivots through 360 degrees of rotation, includes an arcuate fender body. The fender body is attached to the yoke by a bracket so that it is rotatably carried by the rotating yoke. As such, the fender body is maintained at an optimal position relative to the mower tire and thereby provides desirable deflection of lawn clippings and other debris from the various operational components provided upon the mower deck. This prevents the premature wear of such operational components, thereby decreasing down time and reducing maintenance costs of the mower.
FENDER SUPPORT STRUCTURE AND WORK VEHICLE INCLUDING SAME
A fender support structure includes a base member that rotates in accordance with a steering of a front wheel, a cover member that is relatively rotatable with respect to the base member and that supports a front wheel fender covering the front wheel, a holding mechanism that is accommodated in the base member and the cover member and that generates a holding force to hold a relative rotational position of the cover member relative to the base member at a predetermined initial position, and a regulating mechanism that regulates a rotation of the cover member in accordance with a steering of the front wheel against the holding force when a steering angle of the front wheel becomes a predetermined value or more in a left direction and a right direction.
As such, the fender body is maintained at an optimal position relative to the mower tire, and thereby provides desirable deflection of lawn clippings and other debris from the various operational components provided upon the mower deck. This prevents the premature wear of such operational components, thereby decreasing down time and reducing maintenance costs of the mower.
Aerodynamic skirt assembly
The innovation includes a resilient or flexible skirt panel assembly having an integral bracing system. In operation, the bracing system need not attach to a trailer base rail. The innovation includes straight, straight-angled and curved skirt panel orientations. Additionally, angled braces, v-braces, v-wings, and integral rib bracing mechanisms are included. In aspects, the skirt panel and bracing mechanisms can absorb (or bend) under force while effectively having a memory to return to their original shape upon removal of the force. The skirt assembly can include a hem along the bottom edge of the skirt panel thereby enhancing performance and longevity of the assembly. Additionally, an anti-skid clamping assembly can be employed to connect the skirt assemblies to the trailer I-beam, base rail or cross-members.
FRONT FENDER ASSEMBLIES FOR A WORK VEHICLE
A track work vehicle includes a track system. The track system includes a drive wheel supported by an axle housing that drives a continuous ground-engaging track, a saddle assembly that guides the track about the drive wheel and an undercarriage frame that supports one or more idler wheels that guide the track along a ground surface. The track work vehicle includes a fender assembly that includes at least one fender coupled to the track system to overlap a portion of the track.
REAR FENDER ASSEMBLIES FOR A WORK VEHICLE
A track work vehicle includes a track system including a drive wheel supported by an axle housing that drives a continuous ground-engaging track, a saddle assembly that guides the track about the drive wheel and an undercarriage frame that supports one or more idler wheels that guide the track along a ground surface. The track work vehicle further includes a fender assembly that includes at least one fender coupled to the axle housing to overlap a portion of the track.
Tractor fender assembly
A fender assembly for an agricultural tractor including a carrier bracket which supports a wheel fender adjacent to a vehicle wheel. A steering mechanism is provided as part of the fender assembly, such that the wheel fender can be rotated relative to the carrier bracket. Accordingly, the rotation of the wheel fender can be controlled based on a steering signal generated by the vehicle steering system, to ensure that the wheel fender accurately follows the movement of the adjacent tractor wheel.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR POWERED TRAILER DOLLIES
Power dollies can be used for moving moveable objects such as trailers. A power dolly could include a frame, a mount and a plurality of wheel sets. The mount could couple the power dolly to a moveable object. One or more of the plurality of wheels sets could be powered. The plurality of wheels sets could be separated into a primary wheel set and one or more support wheel sets. The wheels of the primary wheel set could extend farther from the frame that the wheels of the support wheel sets.
FLOW RESTRICTING DEFLECTOR
Drag reducing systems for vehicles are provided. In one aspect, a drag reducing system generally includes a flow restricting deflector couplable to a mount and positioned upstream in a path of airflow to an object. The flow restricting deflector generally includes a body portion and a plurality of flow choking orifices configured to provide a choked airflow condition. In another aspect, the drag reducing system is configured for positioning adjacent a wheel and tire combination of a vehicle upstream in a path of airflow to the wheel and tire combination. The flow restricting deflector may be coupled to and extending downward from a splash shield adjacent the wheel and tire combination.
TRAILER AND HOUSING SYSTEM
A housing and trailer system comprising a trailer and a housing. The housing includes a lower housing and an upper housing and may be positioned on friction-reducing members that reduce friction between the housing and trailer. The reduction of friction facilitates the housing to slide more efficiently on the trailer. A safety lever and linkage system operates to safely move roof support structures and raise/lower the upper housing. An adjustable cargo system is attached to a roof on the housing. The adjustable cargo system is adjustable to receive and/or secure different sizes of cargo.
