An example apparatus disclosed herein includes a vehicle subframe including a first rail and a first rocker on a first side of the vehicle subframe, and a second rail and a second rocker on a second side of the vehicle subframe, the first side opposite the second side, a first diagonal member coupled between the first rail and the second side of the vehicle subframe, the first diagonal member to transfer a first longitudinal load from the first rail to the second side, and a second diagonal member coupled between the second rail and the first side of the vehicle subframe, the second diagonal member to transfer a second longitudinal load from the second rail to the first side.
VEHICLE BODY PLATFORM FOR AN AUTOMOBILE AND AUTOMOBILE COMPRISING SUCH A VEHICLE BODY PLATFORM
The invention is directed to a vehicle body platform (1) for an automobile, comprising a passenger body module (100) having a front structural interface (110) and a rear structural interface (120). The vehicle body platform further comprises a front body module (200) having a rear structural interface (220) 210 and a rear body module (300) comprising a front structural interface (310). The rear structural interface (220) of the front body module (200) and the front structural interface (110) of the passenger body module (100) are corresponding structural interfaces configured to mechanically interconnect the passenger body module (100) with the front body module (200) and the front structural interface (310) of the rear body module (300) and the rear structural interface (120) of the passenger body module (100) are corresponding structural interfaces configured to mechanically interconnect the passenger body module (100) with the rear body module (300).
Impact absorption structure for vehicles
The crush can 4 is provided therein with the ribs 46 and 47 extending in the vehicle front and rear direction. The bumper beam 6 is provided therein with the ribs 66 and 67 extending in the vehicle front and rear direction. The rib 46 of the crush can 4 and the rib 66 of the bumper beam 6 are disposed at approximately the same height, and the rib 47 of the crush can 4 and the rib 67 of the bumper beam 6 are disposed at approximately the same height.
Device for reinforcing vehicle body
A device can be used for reinforcing a vehicle body, which includes a front side inner panel and a side outer reinforce complement assembled to the front side inner panel. The device includes a bulkhead section formed in a closed space between the front side inner panel and the side outer reinforce complement. The front side inner panel and the side outer reinforce complement are cross-linked to each other by the bulkhead section.
FRONT BODY FOR VEHICLE
A front body for a vehicle includes: a front dash cross member having first and second ends respectively connected to front side members positioned at both sides of the vehicle; a left front center support member and a right front center support member being a pair of members disposed ahead of the front dash cross member and located under an engine room of the vehicle; and a center member having a front end connected to a center portion of the front dash cross member and extending rearward along a center line of a floor of the vehicle. In particular, the left and right front center support members each have a rear end connected to the center portion of the front dash cross member, extend forward away from each other, and each have a front end connected to the front side members, respectively.
FRONT BODY FOR VEHICLE
A front body for a vehicle includes: a front dash cross member disposed under a dash panel and having first and second ends respectively connected to front side members; a front lower cross member extending in a transverse direction of the vehicle; a front center support member extending in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle and located under an engine room of the vehicle; and a center member having a front end connected to the front dash cross member, and extending rearward along a floor of the vehicle. In particular, the front center support member have a front end connected to the front lower cross member and a rear end connected to the front dash cross member.
Vehicle battery support
A vehicle includes a vehicle frame. The vehicle includes a subframe connected to the vehicle frame. The vehicle includes a tray supported by the vehicle frame. The vehicle includes a V-shaped member having an end at the tray and a pair of legs extending from the end in a vehicle-forward direction to the subframe.
Motor vehicle
A motor vehicle has a self-supporting body which has a passenger compartment, with two longitudinal members, with two rear reinforcing struts which run in a V-shaped manner and are fastened at the front ends thereof to lateral longitudinal member portions of the two longitudinal members. The lateral longitudinal portions run below the passenger compartment. The two reinforcing struts are arranged at the rear ends thereof on a receiving component. The receiving component is a plastics/metal hybrid component which is composed of an open, shell-shaped metal component and of a fiber-reinforced reinforcing plastics component. The plastics component is integrated in the metal component and reinforces the metal component.
Rail system for a cabin of a vehicle
A rail system for a cabin of the vehicle comprises a rail with a main extension direction, a fixing element which can be fixed at various positions of the rail to hold a mounting element on the rail, and a cover device for covering the rail. The cover device has several planar cover elements arranged in continuous series extending along the rail, wherein the cover elements are each mounted so as to be pivotable between a closed state in which the respective cover element lies on the rail and an open state in which the respective cover element is removed from the rail. The fixing element has an engagement element which is configured, on displacement of the fixing element along the rail, to reach below a cover element and move the cover element from the closed state to the open state.
KICK DOWN AREA ENABLER
A vehicle rail assembly has an extending longitudinal rail with a kick down area. A kick down area enabler is positioned in the rail at the kick down area. The kick down area enabler includes a foot rest portion, an outer part portion and a kick down portion all contacting the rail. The outer part portion and kick down portion part are cantilevered from the foot rest portion via welding. The kick down area enabler provides additional energy absorption for the rail to prevent intrusion into a passenger compartment.
