A rear vehicle-body structure for increasing support rigidity for a rear suspension and consequently increase steering stability. The rear vehicle-body structure includes a first frame extending to connect a rear end lower portion of a combined body composed of a side sill and a pillar and a lower arm front support portion of a rear side housing, and having therein a closed cross-sectional space; a second frame extending to connect a rear end lower portion of a floor tunnel located at a vehicle-width-direction center portion of a vehicle-body bottom portion and bulging toward a vehicle upper side in a vehicle front-rear direction and the lower arm front support portion and having therein a closed cross-sectional space; and a third frame extending to connect a rear end upper portion of the floor tunnel and the lower arm front support portion, and having therein a closed cross-sectional space.

UTILITY VEHICLE

A utility vehicle is configured for off-road terrain and may include a plurality of mounting members configured to support a load and/or support the vehicle during transport. The utility vehicle also includes an upper frame assembly which is movable between a first position and second position. The upper frame assembly may be moved to the second position during transportation of the utility vehicle. Further, the utility vehicle includes a plurality of configurations for a rear cargo area, thereby allowing for passengers or cargo to be supported.

The molded part further includes two oblique rims extending between the upper supporting rim and the bin bottom. The molded part is traversed by a lateral opening forming a notch from above, the notch being bordered by the two oblique or vertical rims. The lateral opening is closed by an attached wall assembled to the two oblique or vertical rims.

Rear vehicle-body structure

A recessed portion is formed at a frame member provided at a rear portion of a vehicle body and having a closed cross section extending in a vehicle longitudinal direction such that a part of a lower face of the frame member is recessed upwardly, where a damper of a rear suspension is inserted and fixed. A front portion of the frame member is joined to a side sill extending in the vehicle longitudinal direction at a position offset outwardly in a vehicle width direction from the frame member. Branch-shaped closed cross sections branching off from the closed cross section inwardly and outwardly relative to the damper are formed at a position corresponding to the recessed portion of the frame member. A portion of the frame member located at the above-described position is wide outwardly.
