VEHICLE UNDERBODY STRUCTURE AND VEHICLE BODY
The vehicle underbody structure (20) includes a floor panel (24) and an underbody reinforcement element (26), the underbody reinforcement element (26) including at least a front transversal beam (112a, 112b) and a rear transversal beam (114), the transversal beams (112a, 112b, 114) extending parallel to each other and being attached to the floor panel (24). The front transversal beam (112a, 112b) and the rear transversal beam (114) are made of a press hardening steel having a tensile strength higher than or equal to 1300 MPa.
VEHICLE BODY STRUCTURE
A metallic joint 18 having a substantially T-shaped cross section configured to join an inner surface in a vehicle width direction of a FRP side wall member 13 extending in a front-rear direction and an outer end in the vehicle width direction of a FRP standing wall member 14 extending in the vehicle width direction includes left-right joining surfaces 18b and 18c joined to an inner surface in the vehicle width direction of the side wall member 13, and a front-rear joining surface 18a which extends inward in the vehicle width direction from an intermediate portion in the front-rear direction of the left-right joining surfaces 18b and 18c and is joined to a front surface or a rear surface of the outer end in the vehicle width direction of the standing wall member 14.
VEHICLE BODY STRUCTURE OF AUTOMOBILE
Since a recess 11f configured to house an in-vehicle component 37 is formed on an outer surface of a first wall portion 11c of a FRP vehicle body panel 24, a metallic reinforcing member 32 is fitted to the recess 11f and is fixed by adhesive, the reinforcing member 32 can compensate for a decrease in strength of the first wall portion 11c caused by the recess 11f. Since an outer peripheral portion of the reinforcing member 32 is mechanically fastened to the vehicle body panel 24 with rivets 33 and 35, the outer peripheral portion serving as a starting point of peeling of an adhesive is reinforced by mechanical fastening so that the vehicle body panel 24 and the reinforcing member 32 can be firmly integrated.
AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE STRUCTURAL PART AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME
The automotive vehicle structural part (30) includes at least a main panel (40) and a wheel casing (42), the main panel (40) and the wheel casing (42) being made of two distinct three-dimensional parts made of different materials attached to each other by welding.
Vehicle-body structure of vehicle
A vehicle-body structure of a vehicle comprises a vehicle-body frame member forming an opening portion for entrance at a vehicle side part and a front side door provided so as to open and close the opening portion, wherein the front side door comprises a door panel portion and reinforcement portions provided at a peripheral part of the door panel portion such that the reinforcement portions overlap with the vehicle-body frame member in a vehicle side view, the reinforcement portions being made of a plate member.
Vehicle body joint structure
A vehicle body joint structure includes a lower panel disposed on a side surface of a floor assembly, an upper panel extending upward from the lower panel and connected to a roof assembly for a roof of a vehicle body, and a connection pipe extending vertically to connect the floor assembly to the roof assembly, disposed to face the upper panel, and coupled to the upper panel.
Vehicle rocker with load transferring spacer
A vehicle including a rocker extending in a vehicle longitudinal direction having a first surface and a second surface, at least one crossmember extending in a vehicle width direction from the first surface of the rocker, and at least one spacer coupled to the second surface of the rocker, the at least one spacer being in line with the at least one crossmember.
Structure for side part of body of vehicle
A vehicle body side part structure for a vehicle includes a side sill connected to the lower part of a pillar, and a partition member provided within the side sill. The partition member includes a partition wall for dividing a closed sectional space of the side sill in the vehicle front-rear direction, and joint flange joined to the inner surface of a side sill inner member. The partition wall includes a ridge extending from a side of the side sill outer reinforcement to a side of the side sill inner member and connected to the joint flange. A widening portion is formed at an end of on the ridge close to the joint flange. This configuration makes it possible to improve the load transmission performance at the time of a side collision of the vehicle.
Side Sill for a Motor Vehicle
A side sill for a motor vehicle has a side-sill inner part assigned to a floor assembly, a bottom flange and a side-sill outer part which bounds a cavity of the side sill, in which a reinforcing part, which is fastened to the side-sill inner part, is arranged. In order to provide a side sill which is optimized in respect of simple manufacturing and installation and also needs-oriented design, and by which improved adaptability of the components to different construction variants is possible, the side-sill inner part and the bottom flange are designed as separate components which are connected to each other at least indirectly along a flange connection running in the direction of longitudinal extent of the side sill.
SUBFRAME STRUCTURE
A subframe structure includes: right and left vehicle body side frames; a vehicle body cross-member extending in the vehicle width direction between the vehicle body side frames; a load transmission member connecting a portion of each vehicle body side frame that extends longitudinally frontward from a bent portion of the vehicle body side frame and a portion that is located laterally centrally relative to the laterally outer end portions of the vehicle body cross-member; right and left longitudinal members extending along the vehicle body side frames; and a front cross-member extending in the vehicle width direction between the longitudinal members. The front cross-member has a first attachment portion attached to each longitudinal member, an extension portion extending in the vehicle width direction from the first attachment portion, and a second attachment portion attached to the load transmission member at a laterally outer end portion of the extension portion.
