An air spring for damping and controlling a level position of a drivers cab or of a motor vehicle includes a lid, a rolling piston and at least one air spring bellows. At least one damping device is integrated into the air spring. A level control system is integrated into the air spring and is configured to at least one of supply and discharge compressed air, gas or a compressible medium so as to control the level position of the driver's cab or of the motor vehicle.

Control Device of a Vehicle Suspension

A control device of a vehicle suspension has a suspension device mounted between a supporting vehicle structure and a vehicle part that is movably mounted. The control device includes a blocking device for blocking a compression or rebound motion occurring at the suspension device in correspondence with a blocking command transmitted to a control unit. The control unit determines a characteristic weight value for a current loading of the suspension device when the blocking command is set and stores it as a pertinent value in a memory unit. The control unit determines a value for the weight when the blocking command is reset in order to cancel a blocking of the suspension device according to the result of a comparison with the value stored in the memory unit.

Suspension system for a driver's compartment of a vehicle

A pneumatic suspension system for a vehicle is provided comprising a mounting arrangement for mounting a portion of the vehicle on a chassis; the mounting arrangement including at least one pneumatic spring to be arranged and coupled between the portion of the vehicle and the vehicle chassis. A vehicle state control system is provided that provides a pressure set value in the pneumatic spring and a pressure controller is arranged to a valve device alternatively for pressurizing or depressurizing the each pneumatic spring. The valve device comprises at least a first valve having a valve outlet coupled to the spring terminal and a valve inlet communicatively coupled to the pressure terminal. A support structure (102) distinct from the sealing edge (104) is provided arranged to providing supporting contact to the sealing face to counteract deformations of the sealing face.
