The utility vehicle also includes a rear cargo bed assembly supported by the frame and extending over a portion of the rear ground-engaging member. The rear cargo bed assembly has a rear platform with at least a first seating position. Additionally, the utility vehicle includes a rear cab frame assembly with an upright position and a collapsed position. The vehicle has a first height from the ground surface when the rear cab frame is in the upright position and a second height from the ground surface less than the first height when the rear cab frame is in the collapsed position. The second height is 72-84 inches.
Adjustable canopy brackets for a vehicle
An adjustable canopy bracket for adjustably supporting a canopy to a roll bar of a vehicle, including a lower bracket plate securely positionable about a lower portion of a roll bar member of the roll bar; an upper bracket plate securely positionable about an upper portion of the roll bar member, the upper bracket plate engageable with a forward portion of the canopy; and an adjustable height mechanism engageable with a rearward portion of the canopy, the adjustable height mechanism operable with a rearward portion of the upper bracket plate, wherein adjusting the adjustable height mechanism raises and lowers the rearward portion of the canopy to provide a desired angle of the canopy relative to the roll bar member. An adjustable canopy for attaching to a roll bar of a vehicle is also disclosed and claimed.
Off-Road Vehicle
An off-road vehicle includes a frame; front and rear wheels; a front suspension assembly; a front torsion bar assembly, a rear suspension assembly and a rear torsion bar assembly. The front suspension assembly comprises a front lower rocker arm, a front upper rocker arm, and a front wheel shaft support assembly mounted between the front lower and the front upper rocker arms. The front torsion bar assembly is located above the front upper rocker arm, and is movably connected to the front upper rocker arm. The rear suspension assembly comprises a rear lower rocker arm, a rear upper rocker arm, a control arm assembly, and a rear wheel shaft support assembly mounted between the rear lower and rear upper rocker arms. The rear torsion bar assembly is located between the rear upper and lower rocker arms, and is movably connected to the rear upper rocker arm.
Engine access panels for off-highway vehicle
A recreational off-highway vehicle includes side-by-side passenger and driver seats held within a chassis. The seats sit low in the chassis and are covered by a roll cage. Grab handles are positioned on the sides of the passenger seat. Select large round tubing protects the vehicle, while rectangular tubing frames the portions of the vehicle beneath body panels. The vehicle is powered by an engine rearward of the seats that is connected to a transaxle. A radiator is positioned above the engine. A cover with an access panel is situated between the engine and the passenger seats. The vehicle is suited for rough terrain travel.
Side-by-side vehicle
A utility vehicle includes a plurality of ground-engaging members, a frame assembly, a cab frame assembly, a front suspension assembly, a rear suspension assembly, a power steering assembly, and a powertrain assembly, all of which may be configured to lower the center of gravity of the vehicle.
ENGINE ACCESS PANELS
Vehicle electric motor hydraulic pump decoupling
A vehicle may operate in a first mode in which rear traction members of the vehicle are driven forwardly by an electric motor and a hydraulic pump is powered and may alternatively operate in a second mode in which the rear traction members are driven forwardly by the electric motor while the electric motor is operably decoupled from the hydraulic pump. A controller determines a state of an implement attached to the vehicle, a present or forthcoming turning state of the vehicle, a geo-referenced location of the vehicle, a slip of the vehicle, and/or a camera captured image of terrain. The controller outputs a recommendation for either the first mode or the second mode based upon the determination or automatically switches between the first mode and the second mode based on the determination.
