Integrated vehicle body weight(s)
A vehicle having a power-source configured to propel the vehicle via power-source torque, a driven wheel configured to receive the power-source torque, and a vehicle body structure. The vehicle body structure includes a wheelhouse configured to extend over the driven wheel and also defines a locating feature. The vehicle further includes an integrated weight element configured to engage the locating feature and a fastener configured to fix the integrated weight element to the vehicle body structure either proximate to or directly to the wheelhouse. The vehicle can be configured as a truck, wherein the vehicle body structure includes a truck bed incorporating the wheelhouse and the integrated weight element.
Vehicle ballasting assistance
A method and system for assisting user selection of ballasting options for an agricultural vehicle when coupled to an agricultural implement. The user is presented with a selection menu of implement types, whereby each implement type defines operating ranges of discrete values for first, second and optionally third operational parameters of the vehicle, with the differing combinations defining a values subset. An optimal choice from the available ballasting options is made for each combination in the values subset, and a selection from the optimal choices based on prevalence or probability of occurrence is made and may be presented to the user. Operational parameters may include operating speed, loading due to implement weight and engine power.
Tractor counterweight mounting
A top link for a tractor front counterweight support linkage. The link is a fixed length elongate body having at a first end a pivoting connection with a chassis of the tractor and at a second end a slot to slidably receive an attachment bolt connectable to a tractor front counterweight. The link further includes a mechanism to selectively permit or prevent sliding movement of an attachment bolt received in the slot.
Work vehicle
Disclosed is a work vehicle having a weight that can be attached to a vehicle body frame. The weight is attached in such a manner that, over an entire length in a front/rear direction of the vehicle body and in a vertical direction of the vehicle body, an upper end portion of the weight is disposed in a same position as or upwardly of a lower end portion of the vehicle body frame, and at the same time in a same position as or downwardly of an upper end portion of the vehicle body frame.
Method for vehicle with repositionable ballast
A method of operating a vehicle includes receiving at least one of (a) load data indicating a torque on an axle assembly of the vehicle, (b) an indication of a type of an implement that is coupled to the vehicle, or (c) a selection by an operator of an operating mode for the vehicle from a list of operating modes. The vehicle includes a ballast and a ballast actuator that is configured to reposition the ballast. The method further includes controlling the ballast actuator to reposition the ballast based on at least one of (a) the load data, (b) the indication of the type of the implement, or (c) the selection by the operator.
WORKING VEHICLE
A working vehicle includes a weight support portion in a front portion of a vehicle body to support a weight, a front side detector to detect a detection target in front of the vehicle body, and a support fixed to an upper surface of the weight support portion to support the front side radar.
