Pin joint trailer shim system

A trailer having a hitch assembly, a deck assembly, an axle assembly and a structural joint positioned between the deck assembly and the axle assembly is provided. The deck assembly having a first support beams and a second support beams supporting decking. The first support beam and the second support beam can have a positive camber. At least one shim plate can be rotatable between a joint position, wherein the at least one shim plate is positioned in the structural joint, and a storage position, wherein the at least one shim plate is rotated out of the structural joint to adjust the amount of camber in the support beams.

Booster steering lock and load relief control system

A booster for a trailer system is provided comprising a control system in communication with a sensor(s) for determining the direction and speed of the booster when in motion. The control system comprises instructions corresponding to one or more booster operations such as: detection of a reverse state, retraction of a suspension system when the reverse state is detected; engagement of a steer axle lock when the reverse state is detected; detection of a forward state; extension of the suspension system when the forward state is detected; disengagement of the steer axle lock when the forward state is detected; detection of a high-speed forward state; engagement of the steer axle lock when the high-speed forward state is detected; detection of a low-speed forward state; and disengagement of the steer axle lock when the low-speed forward state is detected.

A flatbed, step-deck, double-drop deck, or lowboy trailer assembly comprises a plurality of metal crossmembers extending in a transverse direction of the trailer assembly; a metal deck supported by the plurality of crossmembers, the metal deck having an upper deck surface and a lower deck surface; and a pair of parallel wooden boards extending in a longitudinal direction of the trailer assembly proximate respective laterally opposite sides of the trailer assembly. Each wooden board in the pair of wooden boards is located in a respective recessed portion of the metal deck. The lower deck surface is situated between and separates a lower surface of each wooden board from the plurality of metal cross members. The lower deck surface is welded to the plurality of crossmembers.

A trailer adapted to haul one or more reels for carrying conveyor belts is disclosed. The trailer includes a loading means to lift the reel on the deck of the trailer. The loading means includes two articulated arms located each side of the trailer, each articulated arm comprising a first elongate member and a second elongate member pivotally mounted to the first elongate member. The first elongate members are movable relative to the trailer between a retracted position and a rearwardly extended position. The second elongate members are pivotable between a horizontal position and an upright position wherein the second elongate members are orthogonal to the first elongate members. A hoist is disposed between the second elongate members and is operable to lift the reel from the support surface to an effective height greater than an effective height of the deck. Jacks are also provided to stabilise the loading means.

The side panel is configured to pivot about a panel axis in communication with the trailer. A lever arm extends between the side panel and the trailer. The system includes a reciprocating assembly to operate the lever arm between a lowered and raised orientation. The reciprocating assembly communicates with the lever arm through a cable. The lever arm controls the rate of radial motion of the side panel about the panel axis. A control unit is configured to regulate the operation of the actuator device.

A container chassis with detachable bolster ends comprising a plurality of bolsters, each bolster with detachable bolster ends and a first configuration with detached bolster ends wherein the container chassis is less than eight feet in width for horizontal fitment into an ISO shipping container.
