Extendable trailer for freight containers

A trailer for transporting a container has a frame mountable to a vehicle. The frame has a rear frame section mountable above a rear wheel assembly of the trailer, and a front frame section connected to and disposed forward of the rear frame section in a forward direction of travel of the vehicle. The front frame section has a king pin mountable to a hitch of the vehicle and a forward-most end. The forward-most end is moveable relative to the kingpin in a direction parallel to the forward direction of travel to extend and shorten a length of the front frame section between a fully-lengthened configuration and a fully-shortened configuration.

TRAILER MOUNTED AIRCRAFT FUSELAGES WITH VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT SYSTEMS

A system for virtually experiencing an aircraft includes a a trailer, an aircraft fuselage, a cabin module, a head mounted display, and a controller. The aircraft fuselage is disposed in the trailer and defines an interior with a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is substantially unfurnished. The cabin module is disposed in the second portion and includes furnishings. The head mounted display is configured for movement within the interior. The controller is configured for generating a virtual aircraft interior based on a position and an orientation of the head mounted display relative to the interior of the aircraft fuselage and for controlling the head mounted display to display the virtual aircraft interior.

MULTI-USE TRAILER

A trailer having a deck and a flip-over ramp. The deck and one side of the flip-over ramp are convertible from a flat position to a position with cradles that are configured to hold one or more round hay bales. The deck may tilt, and side rails may cooperate to form the cradle region. The flip over ramp may also pivot about a horizontal axis to form a pathway from a ground surface to the deck. Side rails may pivot both about a horizontal axis, and about a vertical axis near the flip-over ramp to allow clearance when the ramp is deployed.

FRONT SUBFRAME STRUCTURE

A front subframe structure includes a subframe body and a pair of right and left longitudinal members. The subframe body includes an arm front-side supporting portion, an arm rear-side supporting portion, and a detaching portion. Each of the longitudinal members has, in the rear part thereof, a bent portion that is further in the vehicle width direction outer side with respect to the arm front-side supporting portion. A lower arm has, in the rear part thereof, a longitudinally extending portion. The rear face portion of the bent portion, and the front face portion which is in the front side of the longitudinally extending portion of the lower arm extend substantially parallel to each other along the vehicle width direction. A reinforcing portion is provided on a face of the rear face portion of the bent portion, the face opposing the front face portion of the longitudinally extending portion.

SPLIT CHASSIS SYSTEM

A split chassis system includes a first chassis base portion that is configured to house a first component and a second chassis base portion that is configured to house a second component. The second chassis base portion is positioned adjacent the first chassis base portion such that a first chassis coupling member included on the first chassis base portion is coupled to a second chassis coupling member included on the second chassis base portion. The split chassis system further includes a leveling subsystem that is coupled to the first chassis base portion and the second chassis base portion. The leveling subsystem aligns the first chassis base portion and the second chassis base portion such that the first chassis base portion and the second chassis base portion substantially maintain coplanarity when the first chassis coupling member is coupled to the second chassis coupling member.

Cantilever extension for a trailer assembly

A cantilever extension for a primary trailer is provided. The primary trailer includes a frame that extends from a hitch end to a rear end, and a primary trailer deck coupled to the primary trailer frame. The cantilever extension includes a cantilever deck. The cantilever extension is rotatably coupled to the primary trailer frame proximate to the rear end, and the cantilever extension is rotatable between a stow position, wherein the cantilever deck is oriented in a substantially face-to-face relationship with the primary trailer deck, and a deployed position, wherein the cantilever deck is oriented substantially co-planar with, and aft of, the primary trailer deck. The cantilever extension in the deployed position is supported solely via coupling to the primary trailer.

VEHICLE OPERATION ASSIST SYSTEM

A vehicle operation assist system includes a plurality of detection devices provided in an airport, and a grasping device provided in a towing tractor or a management device that manages an operation of a towing tractor. The detection devices include an outside sensor, a detection unit, and a detection-side communication unit. The grasping device includes a grasping unit and a grasping-side communication unit. The detection unit is configured to discriminate a high-speed vehicle as a type of an object. The grasping unit grasps a position of the high-speed vehicle in the airport from a position of the outside sensor in the airport and a detection result of the detection unit.

Semitrailer configured as a mobile presentation enclosure with improved access for individuals

A semitrailer is configured as a mobile presentation enclosure where the semitrailer rests on the ground when detached from a truck which enables individuals to easily access a floor top surface in an interior of the semitrailer by taking one step up onto the floor top surface in the interior of the semitrailer.

Universal equipment trailer

A universal equipment trailer allows the trailer to connect to a variety of towing vehicles, whether the towing vehicle uses a standard trailer hitch or kingpin hitch. A hydraulic or pneumatic system on the trailer can raise or lower a coupling assembly to place one of two available connectors in position for linking to the vehicle hitch. Because the coupling assembly locks into position once raised or lowered, the connection between the towing vehicle and the trailer is secure. The parts for the universal equipment trailer may also be supplied as a kit, allowing conversion of standard trailers to universal equipment trailers.
