TRAILER FOR HAULING UNIT LOAD DEVICES
A trailer for carrying unit load devices (ULDs), including unloaded and/or loaded containers and pallets, or other cargo; the trailer designed to be towed on surface streets and highways by conventional motorized truck-tractor units. The trailers are equipped with adjustable decks for supporting ULDs in stacked configuration on the trailer. Using a lowered well portion permits selected ULD stacks to not exceed legal trailer height limits so that additional permitting is not required.
SLIDING FRAME FOR TRAILERS
Provided is a sliding frame for trailers, which includes a side beam, wherein the side beam includes a horizontally extending top wall and a vertically extending side wall, an upper surface of the top wall is provided with a wear-resistant pad extending along the length direction of the side beam; a guide rail clip is fixed on an outer surface of the side wall, wherein the guide rail clip includes a connection part fixed to the side wall, and a limiting part located above the connection part, and a backing plate is sandwiched between the connection part and the side wall, a part of the backing plate extends upward to an inner side of the limiting part, and a gap with openings at the top and both front and rear ends is formed between the limiting part and the backing plate. a
TOWING SYSTEMS
A portable towing system for motorcycles or similar vehicles, such as trikes, features a frame that can be lowered to ground level for easy loading by pushing or riding the vehicle onto the frame. The system can be assembled, raised, lowered, and disassembled by a single person. Raising and lowering are achieved through a mechanism connected to the wheel assemblies. The system includes a towable cargo container with a walled container, a top that opens and closes, and left and right side openings in the rear sidewall. Left and right wheel assemblies with elongated tubes are insertable into these openings, oriented orthogonally to the wheel axes. A receiver for a vehicle tow bar allows the cargo container to be towed when connected to a vehicle.
Multi-use trailer
A trailer having a deck and a flip-over ramp. The deck and one side of the flip-over ramp are convertible from a flat position to a position with cradles that are configured to hold one or more round hay bales. The deck may tilt, and side rails may cooperate to form the cradle region. The flip over ramp may also pivot about a horizontal axis to form a pathway from a ground surface to the deck. Side rails may pivot both about a horizontal axis, and about a vertical axis near the flip-over ramp to allow clearance when the ramp is deployed.
EXPANDABLE TRAILER WITH VARIABLE-PITCH WHEEL CARRIAGE
An expandable multiple-axle trailer has a trailer wheel carriage with left and right sub-carriages having corresponding forward-extending sub-carriage extensions, the front ends of which define sub-carriage extension tongues laterally movable within slots in a first transverse trailer structure member while being constrained against longitudinal and vertical movement relative to the trailer, while intermediate regions of the sub-carriage extensions are correspondingly laterally movable within fulcrum slots in a second transverse trailer structure member aft of the first transverse member. The trailer wheel carriage incorporates actuation means for transitioning the trailer wheel carriage assembly between laterally-retracted and laterally-expanded configurations. The slots in the first and second transverse members define guide surfaces angularly oriented such that transitioning to the expanded configuration will alter the longitudinal pitch of the trailer wheel carriage to raise the rearmost axle relative to the forwardmost axle, and vice versa when transitioning to the retracted configuration.
Self-storing sliding hydraulic booster for trailer
A spread axle assembly for a trailer has the ability to pivot about itself to achieve a storage configuration that advantageously shortens the overall length of the trailer and reduces tire wear. It also has the ability to extend between a close position in which the rear axle of the trail is proximate to its axle and one or more spread or extended positions for better distribution of a load carried by the trailer.
EXTENDABLE COUPLING CONTAINER TRAILER/CHASSIS WITH PNEUMATIC SUSPENSION & FIFTH WHEEL
A strengthened extendable container chassis frame that will be used to pick up either a 20. 40, or a 45 container which will also provide the option to couple with another trailer using the pneumatic slide out fifth wheel on the strengthened subframe.
Centralizer for an extendable trailer
An extendable trailer including a nose end for selectively securing the extendable trailer to a vehicle wherein the nose end includes an extendable frame portion. The extendable trailer also includes a tail end having a primary frame to support objects to be transported on the extendable trailer and a central tube member supported by the primary frame. The central tube member includes an inside portion. The extendable trailer further includes a telescopic tube member of the nose end that slidably engages the central tube member. The extendable trailer also includes a centralizer disposed on an insertion end of the telescopic tube member that engages with the inside portion of the central tube member to help centrally position the telescopic tube member in the central tube member when the telescopic tube member is extended into and out of the central tube member. A method of transporting objects using the extendable trailer. The method includes determining a desired length of the extendable trailer and positioning the telescopic tube member relative to the central tube member to achieve the desired length. The method also includes transporting objects on the extendable trailer.
