A dump trailer support assembly for supporting a belly dump trailer when the belly dump trailer is not coupled to a tractor includes a box for positioning on a support surface beneath a belly dump trailer. A shaft is slidably integrated into the box such that the shaft can be slid upwardly or downwardly in the box. A support is coupled to the shaft for supporting a bottom of the belly dump trailer when the belly dump trailer is not attached to a tractor. Additionally, the support is comprised of a magnetized material to magnetically engage the bottom of the belly dump trailer and inhibit the belly dump trailer from sliding on the support.

Systems, methods, and apparatuses for engaging, lifting, and moving objects such as wheeled cargo trailers are provided. In one embodiment, a mobile apparatus includes a transport mechanism, a frame, and one or more lift assemblies. The lift assemblies may be adjusted using one or more attached actuators that position the lift assemblies and/or components thereof for engaging and lifting an object. The transport mechanism may be autonomously operated. A vision system may be used to locate and identify objects and/or guide the mobile apparatus into position to engage and lift the objects. An adapter for a pneumatic braking system of a wheeled cargo trailer is also provided. The adapter provides a pneumatic attachment for a pressurized air source that is separate from a glad hands connector attached to the braking system.

A booster for a trailer system is provided comprising a control system in communication with a sensor(s) for determining the direction and speed of the booster when in motion. The control system comprises instructions corresponding to one or more booster operations such as: detection of a reverse state, retraction of a suspension system when the reverse state is detected; engagement of a steer axle lock when the reverse state is detected; detection of a forward state; extension of the suspension system when the forward state is detected; disengagement of the steer axle lock when the forward state is detected; detection of a high-speed forward state; engagement of the steer axle lock when the high-speed forward state is detected; detection of a low-speed forward state; and disengagement of the steer axle lock when the low-speed forward state is detected.

A trailer stabilizing device for stabilizing a parked freight trailer, the trailer stabilizing device comprising a frame separate from the support frame of the parked freight trailer, the stabilizing device frame having mounted thereto wheels and a hitch, the stabilizing device including a repositionable jack.

A trailer stand positionable by a shunt truck is disclosed. The trailer stand includes a leg assembly having a front pair of legs and a back pair of legs, the front pair of legs connected by a front cross support and the back pair of legs connected by a back cross support, a wheel assembly having a wheel assembly frame that has a first end and a second end, the first end connected to the back pair of legs, the second end retaining an axle, the axle rotatably retaining at least two wheels, a stepped assembly having a front end, a back end, a top, and a bottom, the front end connected to the front cross support, the back end connected to the back cross support, the top of the stepped assembly providing a plurality of landing areas for an end of the semi-trailer, and a lifting frame.

The present invention relates generally to towing devices. More specifically, the invention relates to a towing device configured to be mounted on a towing vehicle having a fifth wheel. The towing device may include a horizontal member and a vertical member. A frame pan extends below the horizontal member and includes connection members which are movable through slits and configured to engage and secure to the frame of the towing vehicle. The vertical member of the towing device includes a hitch assembly to facilitate the connection of a hitch, such as a pintle or ball hitch, to a coupler of a trailer.

A storage arrangement for at least one line from a tractor truck to a trailer including at least one of an electrical line, a first pneumatic line and a second pneumatic line includes a housing member configured to be secured to the truck external to a cab of the truck, a first receiver connected to the housing and configured to couple to a select one of the electrical line, the first pneumatic line and the second pneumatic line, and an air pump positioned within the housing and pneumatically coupled to a pneumatically-driven assembly of the trailer.
