FIFTH WHEEL ASSEMBLY SAFETY COUPLING ARRANGEMENT
A fifth wheel assembly safety coupling arrangement includes a fifth wheel hitch including a top support surface and a recess configured to receive a kingpin member therein, a locking arrangement moveable between a locked position, wherein the kingpin is prevented from being removed from within the recess by the locking arrangement, and an unlocked position, wherein the kingpin is not prevented from being removed from within the recess by the locking arrangement, and a pneumatic cylinder assembly configured to receive a first pneumatic input from a first air supply exerting a first force on the pneumatic cylinder assembly, and a second pneumatic input from a second air supply exerting a second force on the pneumatic cylinder assembly, wherein the pneumatic cylinder assembly prevents the locking arrangement from moving from the locked position to the unlocked position when the sum of the biasing force and the first force is greater than the second force.
Breakaway fifth wheel coupling
A breakaway fifth wheel coupling may couple a semi-tractor to a semi-trailer. In one embodiment, a breakaway fifth wheel coupling may include a top plate, a bottom brace, and a release mechanism that releasably attaches the top plate to the bottom brace. When a rollover event is detected, the release mechanism may allow the top plate to release from the bottom brace, thereby allowing the semi-tractor to separate from the semi-trailer. The fifth wheel coupling may include a pair of pivot rails that promote consistent decoupling of the top plate from the bottom brace. The breakaway fifth wheel coupling may reduce the likelihood of the semi-tractor participating in a rollover accident.

ACCELEROMETER SENSOR ARRANGEMENT FOR FIFTH WHEEL HITCH ASSEMBLY
A fifth wheel hitch assembly includes a fifth wheel hitch plate having a body portion and a pair of extensions extending outwardly from the body portion, wherein the extensions cooperate to form a throat therebetween, a locking arrangement moveable between an unlocked position where a kingpin may be moved into and out of the throat, and a locked position where the kingpin is prevented from being removed from within the throat, and a sensor arrangement that includes at least one sensor located within at least one component of the locking arrangement, wherein the at least one sensor includes an accelerometer configured to sense vibrational movement of the at least one component of the locking arrangement.

Fifth wheel hitch
A fifth wheel hitch having a base assembly mounted to a bed of a towing vehicle, an intermediate assembly mounted to the base assembly, and a hitch head assembly which reduces or entirely eliminates the need for a lubricant, has jaws with mated, intermeshing teeth, and a locking mechanism which clearly indicates whether or not a kingpin of a fifth wheel trailer is properly connected to the fifth wheel hitch. The fifth wheel hitch is easily uninstalled into separate light-weight modules for re-installation on another towing vehicle.
BRAZED FIFTH WHEEL HITCH ASSEMBLY COMPONENTS AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING SAME
A brazing connection includes a first component comprising a first material and including a first connection portion, a second component comprising a second material and including a second connection portion, a heating element that is electrically conductive and electrically resistant positioned between the first connection portion of the first component and the second connection portion of the second component, where the heating element is configured to transmit heat when conducting an electrical current, and a brazing material configured to melt when receiving heat from the heating element, thereby connecting the first component to the second component.
SAFETY CHAIN ENGAGING DEVICE FOR GOOSENECK HITCH
A safety chain engaging device for a towing vehicle having a gooseneck hitch attached with a rail of the towing vehicle is shown and described. The safety chain engaging device may include a first bracket configured to be secured with the rail of the towing vehicle, and a second bracket attached with the first bracket, the second bracket including a plate member spaced from the first bracket. The safety chain engaging device may also include at least one safety chain engaging member secured with the plate member, where the safety chain engaging member is configured to be laterally spaced from the rail upon securement of the first bracket with the rail.

Construction Machine
A hydraulic excavator includes a revolving frame forming a support structure, a cab that is disposed to be positioned on a front side of the revolving frame and in which an operator gets, and a plurality of vibration isolating members that are disposed between the revolving frame and the cab to support the cab on the revolving frame in a vibration isolating state. Further, an intermediate connecting member is disposed for connection between the revolving frame and the vibration isolating member and for a height position adjustment of the cab to the revolving frame. The intermediate connecting member is fixed to the revolving frame from a lower side.
