A work machine may include an drive frame, a drivable track coupled to the drive frame, an idler wheel coupled to the drive frame to facilitate movement of the drivable track, and a wheel weight coupleable to the idler wheel. The wheel weight may be coupled to the idler wheel without removing the idler wheel from the drive frame.

TREAD PATTERN
20210016847 · 2021-01-21 ·

A tread pattern for a vehicle track, such as an endless track for earth-moving equipment, comprises a plurality of blocks. Each block includes two lateral traction portions extending in substantially opposite directions. The two lateral traction portions are longitudinally aligned and each define a pair of walls defining a plurality of steps. In some examples, each lateral traction portion may define an L-shape. For example, the lateral traction portions of each block may define a protrusion to define the L shape, and, in some examples, the protrusions may extend in opposite longitudinal directions. In some examples, the lateral traction portions of each block may be the same shape, where one lateral traction portion may be oriented at about 180 degrees relative to the other lateral traction portion.

In an all-wheel drive arrangement with low input torque especially for the skid-steer loaders controlled by a control unit, made up of battery, frequency converter, electric joystick and/or electro-hydraulic switchgear, both sides of the vehicle control include at least two wheels, each wheel connected to a planetary gearing. The gearing equipped with the infinite gear member (e.g. belt, chain) transfers the torque from the electric motor to each wheel on one side of the vehicle controlled, whereby the planetary gear directly drives the particular wheel.
