Headlamp device including headlamp and pair of cornering lamps
A headlamp device for use in a leaning vehicle, including at least one headlamp that emits light in a front direction, and a pair of cornering lamps that emit light to form left-front and right-front light emission areas. Each of the at least one headlamp includes at least one headlamp light source, and a headlamp housing that stores the at least one headlamp light source and that is arranged inside the front cover. Each cornering lamp includes at least one cornering lamp light source, a light travel direction changing member having a light travel direction changing surface that changes a travel direction of light outputted from the at least one cornering lamp light source, and a cornering lamp housing that stores therein the at least one cornering lamp light source and the light travel direction changing member, and that is arranged inside the front cover. The cornering lamp housing and the headlamp housing are separate from each other.

Light emitting device
A light emitting device for a leaning vehicle, including a pair of cornering lamps, including a first cornering lamp and a second cornering lamp, that emit light to form a single left-front light emission area and a single right-front light emission area, and a control device that controls light emission by the pair of cornering lamps based on a lean angle of the vehicle body. The control device is configured to cause a first quantity of light and a second quantity of light, which are respectively a quality of light outputted from the at least one light source included in the first cornering lamp and in the second cornering lamp, respectively, to vary in accordance with the lean angle of the vehicle body, such that each of the single left-front light emission area and the single right-front light emission area becomes larger as the lean angle of the vehicle body increases.

ADAPTIVE VEHICLE HEADLIGHT
An adaptive vehicle headlight is provided for being installed on a vehicle body for use. The adaptive vehicle headlight includes a light body, an optical lens, a driver, and a control unit. The optical lens, the driver, and the control unit are integrated into the light body. In practice, the optical lens can optionally include a light distributing member. The control unit can cause an operation of the driver according to a tilt angle of the vehicle body, such that the optical lens and/or the light distributing member are rotated to a predetermined angle, so as to produce an illumination pattern in a horizontal state.

VEHICLE LAMP AND VEHICLE SYSTEM
A vehicle lamp includes: a light source that emits a light; an optical member including a lens that irradiates the light from the light source to a front of the vehicle lamp and forms a predetermined light distribution pattern including a plurality of regions; and a controller that, when an object outside the vehicle is detected, adjusts the predetermined light distribution pattern so as not to irradiate at least one first region including the object among the plurality of regions with the light. When the vehicle body is in a cornering state, the controller acquires inclination information of the vehicle body, determines whether there is a second region that does not exceed a reference line, based on the inclination information, and when determining that there is the second region, irradiates the second region with the light even when the object is included in the second region.

Automobile headlight assembly
A headlight assembly for an automobile illuminates a path of the automobile while executing a turn. The assembly includes at least one primary light source, a means of determining an orientation of the automobile, the means being configured to generate a first signal when the orientation is varied, a means of determining an orientation of a steering device of the automobile, the means being configured to generate a second signal when the orientation of the steering device is varied, and a control unit configured to receive and condition the first and the second signal to produce a conditioned signal; and at least two secondary light sources, wherein at least one of the at least two secondary light sources is actuated by the conditioned signal transmitted from the control unit. The invention also describes a method for illuminating a path of the automobile while executing a turn.
ADAPTIVE LIGHTING SYSTEM
A lighting system for a vehicle having a vehicle structure has a housing and a lens. A plurality of light sources are disposed within the housing. A sensor is disposed between the housing and the lens and senses a condition outside the lens.
