Removable Battery Powered Motorcycle Headlight And Lighting Kit With Same
A motorcycle lighting system including a headlamp adapted to be easily mounted upon, and easily removed from, a motorcycle without a headlamp, such as a motocross motorcycle. The headlamp is battery powered and may have removable batteries to allow for substitution during or between rides. The headlamp is mounted with resilient material to enhance vibration resistance. A lighting kit may include handlebar mounted pointable lights also coupled to the headlamp battery.
Head lamp device of straddle-type vehicle
A head lamp device of a straddle-type vehicle, comprises a housing; a pair of light units which are disposed at right and left sides, respectively, in a rightward and leftward direction, and emit light in a forward direction; a pair of support point members which support the pair of light units, respectively; a pair of first tilt members which tilt the pair of light units, respectively in a first direction with respect to the housing; and a pair of second tilt members which tilt the pair of light units, respectively in a second direction with respect to the housing, the pair of support point members are disposed in outward regions, respectively, of the housing in the rightward and leftward direction, and the pair of first tilt members and the pair of second tilt members are disposed in a center region of the housing in the rightward and leftward direction.
DRIVE RECORDER SWITCH ARRANGEMENT FOR SADDLE-RIDING VEHICLE
A drive recorder switch arrangement is equipped in a saddle-riding vehicle with left and right handlebars. The arrangement includes a drive recorder switch of a drive recorder that records video images taken by a camera mounted on the vehicle. The arrangement also includes a vehicle body control device arranged at the right handlebar to allow control of a vehicle body of the vehicle, and an accessory control device arranged at the left handlebar to allow control of an accessory of the vehicle. The drive recorder switch is arranged at the left handlebar.
HEADLIGHT STRUCTURE OF SADDLED VEHICLE
A headlight includes a housing, a low-beam light source and a high-beam light source, a board, and an upper inner lens and a lower inner lens. The low-beam light source and the high-beam light source are each formed of an LED that is housed in the housing and radiates light. The board controls light beams emitted from the low-beam light source and the high-beam light source. The upper inner lens and the lower inner lens are provided in the housing and allow each of the light beams emitted from the low-beam light source and the high-beam light source to be transmitted through the upper inner lens and the lower inner lens toward the vehicle front side. At least part of the board is disposed to overlap with the rear side of the upper inner lens for the low-beam light source.
LOW-BEAM-COLOR-TEMPERATURE-VARIABLE HEADLIGHT UNIT
A low-beam-color-temperature-variable headlight unit includes a case, a condenser lens, a high-color-temperature light emitting diode, a low-color-temperature light emitting diode, and a low-beam-color-temperature control unit. The high-color-temperature light emitting diode emits high-color-temperature light. The high-color-temperature light emitting diode provides illumination of a first illuminated area. The low-color-temperature light emitting diode provides illumination of a second illuminated area that overlaps the first illuminated area at least partly. The low-color-temperature light emitting diode emits low-color-temperature light having a lower color temperature than the high-color-temperature light. The low-beam-color-temperature control unit is capable of adjusting the color temperature of the low beam by adjusting the quantity of light emitted from the high-color-temperature light emitting diode and the quantity of light emitted from the low-color-temperature light emitting diode.
Vehicle lighting apparatus with Fresnel lens and convex lens array
Fresnel lenses are arranged between a board and an outer lens in such a manner as to face at least one of LED chips. The Fresnel lenses are arranged close to a center of the outer lens in front view. Convex and dome-shaped lenses are arranged between the board and the outer lens in such a manner as to face other light sources of the LED chips. The dome-shaped lenses are arranged more radially outward than the Fresnel lenses in front view. Rear surface 89a of the dome-shaped lenses are arranged to be offset toward the LED chips relative to rear surfaces of the Fresnel lenses.
LIGHTING APPARATUS ARRANGEMENT FOR SADDLE RIDING VEHICLE, AND SADDLE RIDING VEHICLE
To provide a lighting apparatus arrangement for a saddle riding vehicle, allowing a predetermined illumination distance and illumination range of laser light to be easily achieved. A lighting apparatus includes a laser device, a first light guide, and a front-portion light emitting unit. The laser device emits laser light. The first light guide guides light from the laser device to any desired position. The front-portion light emitting unit is disposed at a distal end of the first light guide and irradiates areas around a vehicle with light from the first light guide. The front-portion light emitting unit is disposed at a position higher in level than a lower end of a meter unit disposed at a front portion of a vehicle body.
Cover fastening structure for saddled vehicle
A cover fastening structure for a motorcycle, including a cover member around a headlight that can be made smaller in size and, at the same time, with highly accurate fastening. The cover fastening structure for the motorcycle includes: a headlight for lighting the front side of the motorcycle; middle cowls as exterior parts for covering lateral sides of the motorcycle; a headlight under cover disposed under the headlight such as to be continuous with the middle cowls; and a center upper cowl disposed rearwardly of the headlight under cover such as to cover the lower side of the headlight. The headlight under cover includes a rearward extending wall fitted to the center upper cowl, and the rearward extending wall is provided with a cutout. The center upper cowl is provided with a solid cylindrical fitting-receiving section. The cutout of the headlight under cover and the fitting-receiving section of the center upper cowl are fastened together by being fitted to each other.
Front structure of saddle ride type vehicle
A front structure of a saddle ride type vehicle includes a headlight unit, a front cowl, and a middle cowl. At a position outside the headlight unit in the vehicle width direction, an air intake portion opening to the front side of the vehicle is formed between the front cowl and the middle cowl. The front cowl includes a partition wall configured to divide the air intake portion into an upper region and a lower region. The lower region forms an inlet of an air intake path of an air cleaner. The upper region forms a first wind guide path configured to discharge a traveling wind to the rear side of the front cowl.
STRADDLE-TYPE VEHICLE
A straddle vehicle comprises a cover member covering a vehicle body; a head lamp unit which is disposed at a front portion of the straddle vehicle and emits a light beam with which a forward region of the vehicle body is irradiated; and a sub-light-unit which is provided separately from the head lamp unit and emits the light beam with which the forward region is irradiated, wherein the sub-light-unit includes: a housing disposed along an edge of the cover member; a light source member which emits the light beam inside the housing; a reflector which is accommodated in the housing and reflects the light beam emitted from the light source member; and an optical axis adjustment mechanism which supports the reflector on the housing in such a manner that the reflector is tiltable with respect to the housing, and changes a posture of the reflector with respect to the housing.
