Bicycle headlight with linear LED devices and related methods
A bicycle headlight is to be coupled to a handlebar of a bicycle. The bicycle headlight also may include an elongate housing having a first end and a second end opposite the first end, and LED devices carried by the elongate housing and being aligned in a pattern extending between the first end and the second end. The bicycle headlight may include a battery carried by the elongate housing and coupled to the devices, and an arm extending from the elongate housing and to be coupled to the handlebar of the bicycle.
Intelligent headlight system for bicycle
A intelligent headlight system for a bicycle according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a bicycle body; a portable terminal which may be carried by a rider of the bicycle body and has a GPS module, for detecting the location information of the bicycle body, so as to measure the running speed on the basis of the location information of the bicycle body; and a headlight apparatus which is disposed on the bicycle body so as to cast light on the scene ahead of the bicycle body, is communicatably connected to the portable terminal so as to receive the running speed of the bicycle body, and is formed such that irradiation patterns may vary in accordance with the running speed of the bicycle body.
Portable active lighting device or same installed on a bicycle
The active lighting device of a bicycle includes a first optical system with a first light source for long-distance illumination, controlled by a control unit, and a second optical system with a second light source for short-distance illumination, controlled by the control unit. It includes a light sensor for determining the light intensity of a location in which the bicycle is situated and allows the control unit to adapt the light intensity of the light sources, if they are activated and if the ambient light intensity is below a determined light threshold. Moreover, a speed sensor is provided for determining the speed of the bicycle in use on a path, so that the control unit controls the activation of the first light source from at least one determined speed threshold. An orientation detector is provided for orienting the light sources depending on a curve travelled by the bicycle in use.
MOUNTING BRACKET FOR A BICYCLE LIGHT
A mounting bracket for a bicycle light is disclosed which is formed in two parts, a first part for mounting on part of a bicycle frame, the first part having a first magnet, and a second part having an elongate portion arranged to extend laterally away from the plane of the bicycle frame. The elongate portion is arranged for holding a light source at a distal end, and having a having a second magnet arranged towards its proximal end. The second magnet configured to engage with the first magnet to couple the first and second parts together. The first and second parts are further provided with cooperating engagement portions for selectively elastically engaging the first and second parts with one another. Optionally the first and second parts have cooperating alignment portions to help ensure that the coupling occurs at a desired orientation.

Bicycle light systems and methods
Bicycle light systems and methods operate to project multicolor lighting patterns on the front and/or rear of the torso of a bicycle rider. Multicolor light schemes provide increased visibility, accentuate the rider's form, and provide the rider with an enjoyable and thrilling riding experience. Low light intensity configurations effectively operate to light the rider's body while not shining excessive amounts of light other riders. Light housing configurations prevent unwanted light from reaching the rider's eyes, and limit the illumination patterns to desired locations on the rider's torso.
Handlebar Systems and Method
A handlebar system; the system provides a multi-functional handlebar component for a cycle or similar vehicle. Versions of the system include a housing containing a battery; a handlebar mount configured to attach to the cycle, a subcomponent housing; an energy storage module mechanically coupled to the subcomponent housing; a user interface fixed to the subcomponent housing, and including a speaker, a microphone, and at least one manual input, the user interface adapted to communicate a command from a user; a communication module fixed to the subcomponent housing and electrically coupled to the energy storage module, the communication module including a transceiver electrically coupled to the energy storage module, the transceiver configured to communicate with at least one external communication network wirelessly; and a memory electrically coupled to the energy storage module.
MULTI-FUNCTIONAL LIGHTING DEVICE INTEGRATED WITH BICYCLE
The present invention relates to a multifunctional lighting apparatus for a bicycle, which includes: a lighting apparatus ascending/descending support unit detachably mounted on a steering unit of a bicycle; an ascending/descending movement body part vertically movably located in the lighting apparatus ascending/descending support unit; and a main lighting lamp unit located in the ascending/descending movement body part and irradiating light, and as a result, a lighting lamp unit can be located at a position desired by a driver by adjusting a height of the lighting lamp unit, thereby enhancing both satisfaction and safety in use.
LIGHTWEIGHT ELECTRIC SADDLE TYPE VEHICLE CHASSIS
A saddle type vehicle having at least one seat and at least two wheels, at least one electric motor, and a rechargeable electric energy storage system (RESS). The vehicle having a chassis that is formed from a first side frame member and a second side frame member to form a hollow interior. The chassis being configurable to support a pedaled configuration and a non-pedaled configuration utilizing the same chassis. The chassis forming a battery compartment and storage compartment that are accessible from an upper surface of the chassis. The chassis also extends from a forward end of the vehicle to a rear end of the vehicle such that the rear wheel connects to the rear end of the chassis and a steering stem attaches near the forward end of the chassis.
