First external seats and second internal seats are provided for the axial and removable positioning respectively of a first external adapter and of a second internal adapter.

The first and second adapter have respectively a second hole and a third hole, adapted to determine two different axial arrangements of the derailleur hook and of the pivot with respect to the two first and second chainstays and are adapted to keep the derailleur hook locked in clockwise rotation and free to rotate counterclockwise only through a chosen arc.

BICYCLE WITH ENHANCED SUSPENSION

A bicycle assembly can have a main frame, a subframe, and a shock absorber. The subframe can move in relation to the main frame, and the shock absorber can be used to regulate that relationship. A linkage can be connected to the shock absorber, the main frame, and a chain stay of the subframe to drive the shock absorber as the subframe is moved with respect to the main frame.

Bicycle suspension systems are presented including: a frame for supporting a rider, where the frame includes a seat tube; a pivot assembly located proximate with a bottom portion of the seat tube; a swing arm pivotably coupled with the pivot assembly, where the swing arm is configured to resist twisting and flexing; and a pair of shocks each coupled along a distal end portion of the swing arm and coupled proximate with a top portion of the seat tube. In some embodiments, the swing arm includes: a pair of non-parallel chain stays each terminating with a rear dropout on a distal end of the pair of non-parallel chain stays; and a bridge coupled with the pair of non-parallel chain stays and positioned proximate to the pivot assembly.

Suspension assembly

A suspension assembly for a bicycle is disclosed. The suspension assembly may be configured to use a volume of fluid in a fluid circuit for damping and may comprise a damping mechanism; the suspension assembly may comprise a lockout mechanism independent of the damping mechanism configured to prevent damping by the damping mechanism and an actuator for the lockout mechanism. The lockout setting may be independent of the damping setting. A suspension system may comprise a fluid circuit for a fluid configured to provide damping for a bicycle; the suspension system may comprise a damping mechanism configured to provide a damping setting for damping and a lockout mechanism configured to provide a lockout setting and comprising (a) a flow control element (such as an adjuster shaft) configured in the lockout setting to prevent flow of the fluid through the damping mechanism and (b) a flow control element (such as a blow-off valve) configured to allow flow to a reservoir chamber of the fluid circuit if the pressure of the fluid is greater than a threshold value; an actuator for the lockout mechanism configured to actuate the flow control element configured to prevent flow through the damping mechanism; the lockout mechanism may configured to provide the lockout setting when on and to permit damping at the damping setting by the damping mechanism when off.
