A drive assemblage is described for a vehicle drivable by muscle energy and/or—in particular additionally—by motor energy, to an electric bicycle, e-bike, or pedelec, having: a crank spindle rotatable around a rotation axis for receiving a first torque that is generated in particular by muscle energy; and a transfer device that is embodied to transfer the first torque from the crank spindle to an output drive element couplable to a drive wheel of the vehicle, and is embodied, by way of an—in particular automatically—shiftable spur gear transmission, for a variable conversion ratio, in which: the spur gear transmission has a first shiftable spur gear transmission and a second shiftable spur gear transmission separate therefrom; the first shiftable spur gear transmission and the second shiftable spur gear transmission have a common transmission output to the couplable output drive element; and the first shiftable spur gear transmission and the second shiftable spur gear transmission are couplable alternatingly and alternatively into the power and torque flow of the transfer device.

TRANSMISSION

A transmission for a system, in which a directed force is introduced eccentrically with respect to a main shaft of the transmission, comprising the main shaft which is rotatably mounted in relation to a stationary housing by a main shaft bearing, a sun gear which is fixedly connected to the housing being arranged concentrically around the main shaft, and at least one control housing that rotates around the housing, wherein the first section thereof acts on the main shaft in a rotationally fixed manner and a planetary wheel is rotatably mounted by a first rotary bearing on the second section thereof, said planetary gear meshing with the sun gear. According to the invention, a force transmission means is fastened to the control housing and a drive crank rigidly engages the first end on the planetary wheel, wherein a second end of the drive crank is mounted in an articulated manner on a crank arm, said crank arm being supported in relation to the control housing by a movable coupling means. The aim of the invention was to provide a transmission having structural dimensions which are as compact as possible in the axial direction of the main shaft. Said aim is achieved in that the movable coupling means is a linear guide which absorbs tilting torques transmitted by the crank arm.

A bicycle drive unit includes a planetary gear mechanism, a first motor and a second motor. The planetary gear mechanism includes a sun gear, a ring gear, a plurality of planetary gears and a carrier. The ring gear is disposed around the sun gear on the same axis as the sun gear. The planetary gears are disposed between the sun gear and the ring gear. The carrier rotatably holds the planetary gears and receives an input rotation of a crankshaft. The first motor is configured to transmit torque to the carrier. The second motor is configured to transmit torque to the sun gear and control the rotation of the sun gear.

Hybrid drive for an electric bicycle

A bicycle includes an electrical auxiliary drive, including an electric motor, a battery for storing electrical energy, which battery is connected to the electric motor, a crank mechanism having pedal cranks, which are mounted on a pedal crankshaft disposed about a crank axis, so as to be able to rotate, and a planetary gear for driving the bicycle both by the electric motor and by the muscle power of a driver, the planetary gear and the electric motor being disposed about the pedal crankshaft of the crank mechanism.

Bicycle drive unit

A bicycle drive unit is basically provided with an input rotational shaft, an output part, a transmission mechanism, an assist motor and a switching mechanism. The transmission mechanism has at least two shift stages, and is configured to change a speed of a rotational input that is input from the input rotational shaft and output this rotational input to the output part. The assist motor is coupled to a power transmission path from the input rotational shaft to the output part, and is driven according to a manual drive force. The switching mechanism is configured to switch a gear changing state of the transmission mechanism by using a rotational force of the assist motor.

Bicycle component

A bicycle component includes a drive unit and a battery. The drive unit includes a housing mounted on a bicycle frame, a crankshaft provided to a first portion of the housing, and a propulsion assist motor provided to a second portion of the housing. The battery is electrical connected to the propulsion assist motor to supply electrical power to the propulsion assist motor. The propulsion assist motor includes a rotational axis extending in a direction intersecting a direction in which the crankshaft extends. At least part of the second portion and at least part of the battery are accommodated in the frame in a state in which the second portion and the battery are arranged next to each other in a direction parallel to the rotational axis of the propulsion assist motor and the battery is coupled to the second portion in an attachable and detachable manner.

A measuring device with a crankshaft and a load cell for determining a radial force acting on the crankshaft having a receiving sleeve for receiving a bearing ring and a fastening ring for attaching the load cell in a transmission housing. Axial support areas are provided on the fastening ring for axially supporting the outer ring of the first bearing. Moreover, measuring regions for receiving radial forces of the receiving sleeve are provided which connect the receiving sleeve with the fastening ring. Strain sensors are attached to at least two of the measuring regions. An evaluation electronics is connected to the strain sensors.

A system for assisting a user in moving a device relative to a structure comprises a magnetorheological (MR) fluid actuator unit including at least one torque source and at least one MR fluid clutch apparatus having an input coupled to the at least one torque source to receive torque from the at least one torque source, the MR fluid clutch apparatus controllable to transmit a variable amount of assistance force via an output thereof. An interface is configured for coupling the output of the at least one MR fluid clutch apparatus to the device or surrounding structure. At least one sensor provides information about a movement of the device. A processor unit for controlling the at least one MR fluid clutch apparatus in exerting the variable amount of assistance force as a function of said information, wherein the system is configured for one of the MR fluid actuator unit and the interface to be coupled to the structure, and for the other of the MR fluid actuator unit and the interface to be coupled to the device for the assistance force from the MR fluid actuator unit to assist in moving the device.

Embodiments of the disclosed gear transmission comprise an input shaft and a coaxial output shaft, a planetary gear assembly configured with a sun gear fixedly articulated to the input shaft, a ring gear of the planetary gear assembly fixed at a hub of a transmission plate configured with a peripheral gear ring, a gear ratio changing mechanism comprising a pinion gear engaged with the peripheral gear ring of the transmission plate and rotatable about a radial axis, and a transmission pinion gear coupled to an axle rotatably articulated with the pinion gear. The transmission pinion gear being displaceable along the axle and configured for engaging with a rotatable gear plate. The gear plate is coaxially articulated with the output shaft and the gear plate is configured at an inside face thereof with a plurality of coaxially disposed gear rings. The transmission pinion gear is engageable with a gear ring of the gear plate, and the gear ratio changing mechanism comprises a manipulator configured for selective radial displacing the transmission pinion gear between gear rings of the gear plate. The axle is configured to rotate about its longitudinal axis and simultaneously rotate about a central axis of the input shaft in a direction opposed to the direction of rotation of the transmission plate.
