Watercraft with transom-mounted lifting fin
A watercraft is provided with fin on its transom. The fin extends outwardly from a portion of the transom that extends into the water. The fin includes a first portion and a second portion positioned rearwardly of the first portion. The second portion is inclined downwardly and rearwardly relative to the first portion and positioned so as to provide lift and to channel water toward the propeller. The watercraft may be a pontoon boat having first and second laterally-spaced pontoons located under the deck on opposite sides of the transom. Additional fins may be mounted on the first and second laterally-spaced pontoons.
Water sports boat with foil displacement system
A foil displacement system includes one or more foils that can be deployed and stowed. When deployed, each foil can exert downforce or uplift depending on its orientation. For example, each foil may be positioned to have an angle of attack that creates a downward force effectively transmitted to the hull to pull the hull deeper within the water to, for example, create a larger wake. Use of the foil displacement system can enhance or replace the use of a ballast tank system, can be integrated into a new boat or retrofitted to existing boats, can be electronically or manually positioned, can enhance activities such as wake surfing, wake boarding, water skiing or other similar or related water sports.

Wake-Modifying Device for a Boat
A recreational sport boat includes a hull, having starboard and port sides and a transom, and a pair of wake-modifying devices positioned aft of the transom. One of the wake-modifying devices is positioned on a port side of the boat's centerline and another of the wake-modifying devices is positioned on a starboard side of the boat's centerline. Each wake-modifying device includes a plate-like member and at least one downturned surface at a trailing portion of the plate-like member. Each wake-modifying device is pivotable between a non-deployed position and a deployed position about a pivot axis that is horizontal or inclined no more than about 35 from horizontal. When a wake-modifying device is in the deployed position, the downturned surface is lower than it is in the non-deployed position so as to be able to modify the boat's wake.
Wake-modifying device for a boat
A recreational sport boat includes a hull, having starboard and port sides and a transom, and a pair of wake-modifying devices positioned aft of the transom. One of the wake-modifying devices is positioned on a port side of the boat's centerline and another of the wake-modifying devices is positioned on a starboard side of the boat's centerline. Each wake-modifying device includes a plate-like member and at least one downturned surface at a trailing portion of the plate-like member. Each wake-modifying device is pivotable between a non-deployed position and a deployed position about a pivot axis that is horizontal or inclined no more than about 35 from horizontal. When a wake-modifying device is in the deployed position, the downturned surface is lower than it is in the non-deployed position so as to be able to modify the boat's wake.
Watercraft having moveable hydrofoils
The invention relates to a watercraft having a hull (10) which has a hydrofoil assembly (20) in the region of the stern (12) and another hydrofoil assembly (30) in the region of the bow (11), the hydrofoil assemblies (20, 30) each having hydrofoils (21, 31) arranged on both sides of the hull (10). To achieve a stable position in the water while ensuring good driving dynamics under a wide range of conditions, according to the invention the hydrofoil assemblies (20, 30) are coupled to at least one adjustment unit (22, 32) such that the bow-side hydrofoil assembly (20) and the stern-side hydrofoil assembly can each be at least partially individually height adjustable (FIG. 1).
Watercraft having moveable hydrofoils
The invention relates to a watercraft having a hull (10) which has a hydrofoil assembly (20) in the region of the stern (12) and another hydrofoil assembly (30) in the region of the bow (11), the hydrofoil assemblies (20, 30) each having hydrofoils (21, 31) arranged on both sides of the hull (10). To achieve a stable position in the water while ensuring good driving dynamics under a wide range of conditions, according to the invention the hydrofoil assemblies (20, 30) are coupled to at least one adjustment unit (22, 32) such that the bow-side hydrofoil assembly (20) and the stern-side hydrofoil assembly can each be at least partially individually height adjustable (FIG. 1).
WATERCRAFT FOR CONVEYING AT LEAST ONE PERSON ON A WATER SURFACE
The invention relates to a watercraft for transporting at least one person on a water surface, comprising an input device for providing a control instruction, wherein the control instruction depends on an input movement of the person and the input movement can be carried out during travel with the watercraft, furthermore comprising a control device for providing a change and thus a selective increase and decrease of the lift force as a function of the control instruction, furthermore having a transmission device for transmitting the control instruction from the input device to the control device, furthermore having a steering device for providing a change in direction of the watercraft taking place along the water surface as a function of a steering movement by the person, wherein a holding device is provided for enabling a supporting function for the person operating the watercraft, wherein the input movement can be carried out independently of the steering movement and/or the supporting function.
WATERCRAFT FOR CONVEYING AT LEAST ONE PERSON ON A WATER SURFACE

Electrically driven hydrofoil
An electrically driven hydrofoil for fastening to a board in order to lift the board out of the water during travel operation, comprises at least one drive module, which as an autonomous unit is fastened to a portion of the hydrofoil that remains submerged in the water during travel operation, an electric battery, and an electrically operated propulsion device supplied with power by the battery. It is thus possible to equip a conventional hydrofoil and a corresponding hydrofoil board with an electric drive, without the need for modifications to the board or to the hydrofoil. The battery can be arranged in the drive module so that there will be no need to provide external electrical connection between the propulsion device and the battery. The drive module may thus form an autonomous unit that may be attached to the hydrofoil as required, but otherwise is separate from the hydrofoil.
