Watercraft and Aircraft Bladder and Tie Down Securing Apparatuses and Methods
The novel bladder systems and tie down systems set forth herein provide systems and apparatuses that mitigate or prevent damage, such as tipping over/capsizing, of a watercraft stored on shore or an aircraft secured to a ground surface during adverse wind, rising water, or storm events. Further, novel apparatuses and methods for storing a watercraft using the bladders as cushioning or holding devices when installed within a cavity, whether the cavity is created by digging a hole or building an enclosing berm, provides additional stability and security for the watercraft during adverse wind, rising water, or storm events.
High speed surface craft and submersible craft
A marine vessel comprising: at least one buoyant tubular foil; and at least one baffle plate positioned about the perimeter of the at least one buoyant tubular foil so as to protrude into the flow of water passing by the perimeter of the at least one buoyant tubular foil, whereby to create a high-pressure zone fore of the at least one baffle plate and a low-pressure zone immediately aft of the at least one baffle plate, whereby to create a dense stream of supercavitated water immediately aft of the at least one baffle plate.

GAS-CONTAINING SURFACE COVER, ARRANGEMENT, AND USE
The present invention relates to a surface cover for a body which can be brought into contact with a liquid, comprising: a layer which at least partly contains gas and which is designed and arranged such that at least some sections of a layer face facing the liquid contacts the liquid; a gas-permeable layer which is arranged on the gas-containing layer on a face that faces the body and is opposite the face facing the liquid or which is integrally formed with the gas-containing layer; and a gas-supplying device which is connected to the gas-permeable layer such that gas can flow from the gas-supplying device to the gas-containing layer through the gas-permeable layer. The invention also relates to an arrangement and a use.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR GAS MAINTENANCE IN MICROFEATURES ON A SUBMERGED SURFACE
A microstructured surface with microfeatures formed thereon and defining spaces between the microfeatures includes least one electrode of an electrode pair in the spaces, wherein electrodes of the pair are electrically connected to one another. The at least one electrode located in the space is configured to generate a gas in between the microfeatures when an electrolyte solution penetrates into the microfeatures. Importantly, the electrodes are not connected to any external power source. Because the microstructured surface is self-powered in replenishing the gas lost in a submerged condition, no additional provision to supply energy or regulate the replenishment is necessary for implementation and use.

Rudder assembly
A rudder assembly, including a steering engine; an axial hollow rudder stock; a rudder blade; a gas release unit; and a tiller. The steering engine is disposed in a vessel stern. The tiller is connected to the steering engine. The axial hollow rudder stock includes a through hole. The through hole is small and disposed along the axis of the axial hollow rudder stock. The gas release unit is disposed in the vessel stern, and includes a control cabinet. The control cabinet includes a reagent storage tank, a reagent conveying hose connected to the reagent storage tank, a compressed air bottle, a pressure hose connected to the compressed air bottle, and a console. The pressure hose and the reagent conveying hose pass through the through hole of the axial hollow rudder stock, and then communicate with the cavity of the rudder blade.
