An egg processing system is provided. Such a system includes a reference platform defining a plurality of reference openings therethrough. Each reference opening is adapted to receive an avian egg therein from an underside of the reference platform. A plurality of egg holders are provided for supporting eggs, each egg holder being configured to lift an egg toward a respective reference opening. A plurality of egg orienting accommodations extends from the underside of the reference platform. Each egg orienting accommodation is associated with a respective reference opening such that as an egg moves toward the reference platform it interacts with the egg orienting accommodation to orient the egg. An associated system, device and method are also provided.

EGG FLAT IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM, AND ASSOCIATED METHOD

An egg flat identification system for identifying an egg flat among a collection of egg flats is provided. Such a system includes a first measurement device configured to determine a first measurement of a plurality of eggs carried by an egg flat. A processor is in communication with the first measurement device. The processor is configured to receive the first measurements from the first measurement device. A second measurement device is configured to determine a second measurement of the eggs in the collection of egg flats. The second measurement device is in communication with the processor such that the processor is capable of receiving the second measurements. The processor compares the second measurements with the first measurements so as to identify a respective egg flat among the collection of egg flats.

Device and system for processing of eggs, such as vaccination or a vacuum suction or grabber based pick up
09532552 · 2017-01-03 · ·

A device, assembled to subject at least one egg that normally has a longitudinal direction between a blunt end and a pointed end to a processing in a predetermined orientation of the longitudinal direction of the egg, such as injection or vaccination, candling or vacuum or grabber based pick-up. The device includes a processing station arranged to subject the egg to the processing; a holder arranged to hold the egg in said predetermined orientation for the processing station to subject the egg to the processing. The holder includes a support, arranged to engage one of said two ends of the egg; and a cylindrical accommodation comprising at least two arms extending from the support in use in the longitudinal direction of the egg to engage the egg at a distance from the support, wherein the arms are flexible and the cylindrical accommodation is curved in correspondence with the circumferential shape of the egg. The arms are arranged to yield and align the egg when the arms move over the egg.

SEX DETERMINATION DEVICE AND SEX DETERMINATION METHOD

A sexing apparatus 100 includes irradiation means for irradiating each of hen eggs within a predetermined period of time from start of incubation with light having a predetermined wavelength, imaging means for imaging each of the irradiated hen eggs, means for generating a sexing model using, as training data, a result of separately sexing the hen eggs and image data obtained by the imaging of the hen eggs, and means for sexing a new target hen egg by inputting an image data obtained for the target hen egg by the irradiation means and the imaging means into the sexing model.

FACILITY FOR HIGH-SPEED PROCESSING OF NEWLY HATCHED BIRDS

The invention relates to a facility for high-speed processing of newly hatched fowl.

According to the invention, said facility comprises at least one first linear conveyor (10), which defines a conveying axis (11) along which a plurality of processing stations (13) are arranged, at least some of said processing stations (13) being identical so that the fowl of a single first container in motion can receive the same processing by being shared across the various identical processing stations (13), at least each one of said identical processing stations (13) comprising a chute (15) for conveying fowl thus processed to second containers (16), said facility comprising stationary supports for supporting said second containers, which are placed level with a second conveyor (17) located under said first conveyor (10), so that each second container can be moved, when it is full, to said second conveyor (17) in order to be discharged.
