FLOAT MOORING METHOD, MOORING MEMBER, AND METHOD OF RECOVERING SAME

A mooring method includes the steps of: transporting a mooring member having a mooring cable which can be connected to a float at one end and an accommodation member installed at the other end of the mooring cable and has an accommodation space therein to a mooring position of the float; accommodating a first heavy weight in at least a part of the accommodation space of the accommodation member at the mooring position; connecting the one end of the mooring cable to the float at the mooring position after the accommodation step; and accommodating a second heavy weight in the accommodation space of the accommodation member by adding the second heavy weight to the first heavy weight or exchanging at least part of the first heavy weight with the second heavy weight at the mooring position after the connection step.

PROCESS OF ANCHORING A FLOATING PLATFORM ON A ROCKY SEABED
20250065989 · 2025-02-27 · ·

A process of anchoring a floating platform on a rocky seabed, comprising the following steps: providing at least one trench portion in the seabed, the trench portion extending along a line, installing an anchor structure in the trench portion, the anchor structure comprising a core extending along the line, steel plates welded to the core and extending from the core radially with respect to the line, and at least a first grout line, injecting grout in said first grout line in order to fill the trench portion with grout, the plates being at least partly surrounded by the injected grout, and after curing of the injected grout, connecting a connecting point of the core (to the platform using a mooring chain.

Vessel anchoring system and method of use
09580151 · 2017-02-28 · ·

An anchoring system for a vessel comprising an anchoring rod, a first support member coupled to a vessel and selectively couplable to the anchoring rod, and a second support member coupled to the vessel and in a spaced relation to the first support member. The second support member retaining the anchoring rod in a slideable engagement and defining a rotation path of the anchoring rod.

Tension foundation for holding a buoyant object
12330751 · 2025-06-17 · ·

A tension foundation is provided for holding a buoyant object in flowing water via a tether. The tension foundation may include a spine component, rotation members rotatable about the spine component, slats, and additional features. The rotation members can include multiple types with distinct dimension ratios, which may be arranged in an alternating pattern. During operation, the tension foundation advantageously provides increased contacting edges to grip an uneven surface, such as a rocky lakebed or river bottom.

Sand anchoring kit for watercraft
12428108 · 2025-09-30 ·

A sand anchoring kit for watercraft including a floating raft assembly, a rope assembly, and a bag assembly. The floating raft assembly includes a floating raft. The floating raft can be inflated or deflated. The rope assembly includes a rope. The bag assembly includes a bag. The bag can store the floating raft when deflated and the rope. The bag can be filled with sand and attached to the floating raft through the rope to be used as an anchor. The bag is closed with the sand thereinto. The bag sinks and anchors the floating raft when inflated in a predetermined position in a water body.

ANCHORING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INSTALLING AND UNINSTALLING THE ANCHORING SYSTEM
20260042509 · 2026-02-12 ·

Anchoring system having a floating platform from which first anchoring lines emerge, an anchoring block with at least three non-aligned anchoring points, a central float swinging arms being joined by a joint to the block, the joint located in an intermediate area so that each arm has an internal section and an external section, the internal section located between the intermediate area and an inner free end, and the outer section located between the intermediate area and an outer free end, the inner end closer to the central float than the outer end, so that first anchoring lines leaving the floating platform are joined to the outer free ends. The system has second anchoring lines between the central float and the inner end portions containing the inner free ends of the inner sections of the arms. Also a method of install and uninstalling such a system.
