MARITIME TRANSPORT SYSTEM FOR OIL AND DERIVATIVES THEREOF
The invention relates to a maritime transport system for oil and the derivatives thereof, which includes a tractor unit with a device for driving at least one floating, rotary spheroid container. The at least one container has two semi-spherical domes, an upper one and a lower one, that are closed at the base end and open at the other, the base of each containing a flat surface. Both domes are assembled with the open ends facing one another and are joined at the circular perimeter thereof by a fitting belt with securing device and a gasket, both being solidly joined together. Inside the container are disposed an upper structure and a lower structure that are solidly connected to connecting beams, defining a self-supporting cube-shaped cage with projecting rotating devices and multiple individual housing cells for at least one tank of fluid to be transported.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR A TOWED VESSEL SUITABLE FOR TRANSPORTING LIQUIDS
A towed vessel suitable for containing and transporting various liquids is disclosed. The vessel further comprises various features useful in the transportation, navigation, and storage of the towable vessel, both when in use for transporting fluids and when transported in an emptied state. Such features include navigational and positioning devices and methods, power supply devices and methods, and means for filling, inflating, emptying, and deflating a non-rigid, towed vessel. Aspects of embodiments of the present invention further include features useful for purifying or preserving the purity of the fluid to be transported.

Twin-hull offshore structure comprising an interconnecting central deck
A floating hydrocarbon processing/storage structure with a first and second assembly, each including a hull having side walls, one or more storage tanks and a deck structure, a connection structure interconnecting the hulls, processing equipment situated on the deck structures, at least one riser connected to a subsea hydrocarbon well and to the processing equipment and/or storage tanks, with a mooring system connecting the processing/storage structure to the sea bed, each hull including a hull deck structure bridging the side walls, the connection structure including a central deck extending at or near the height of the hull deck structures along at least 70% of the length of the hulls, the central deck supporting at least one of: risers vertically extending from the central deck between the hulls to the sea bed, fluid ducts horizontally supported on the central deck, and at least one drilling/work-over rig or crane.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRANSPORTING METHANE
A methane transportation system is provided. The system may include a methane source configured to dispense methane at a first location, and an underwater vehicle. The underwater vehicle may include a propulsion system configured to transport the underwater vehicle underwater from the first location to a second location and a vessel defining a storage chamber configured to receive water and the methane from the methane source. The storage chamber of the vessel may have a pressure exceeding one atmosphere and a temperature during transport from the first location to the second location sufficient to form methane clathrate in the storage chamber. The system may further include a methane receiver configured to receive the methane released from the storage chamber at the second location. Related methods are also provided.
Support vessel for assisting in loading fluid hydrocarbon cargo onto a carrier vessel, and related system and method
A method, and a support vessel for use in the system. The system can in various embodiments include: a carrier vessel for carrying fluid hydrocarbon cargo across sea, the hydrocarbon cargo to be loaded into at least one cargo tank of the vessel; a support vessel; VOC recovery means on the support vessel for recovering volatile organic compounds, VOCs, the VOCs being produced from the cargo tank in loading the cargo tank, in use; and at least one hose extending between the carrier vessel and the support vessel for communicating gas having volatile organic compounds, VOCs, through the hose from the cargo tank of the carrier vessel to the VOC recovery means on the support vessel.
